Review of Tusker House Restaurant

This was a lot of fun! We loved meeting the characters and the music. Food was good. But this was the only place I felt like I had to pull teeth to get accommodations. It’s a buffet. Which is a no go for celiac or people with severe allergies/intolerances. And I knew this going in so I knew I would need to meet with a chef. I told waitress I need a chef and she said everything marked gluten free is gluten free. I said cool, still need a chef. Chef comes out and states everything marked gluten free is gluten free on the buffet. So then I asked about cross contamination on the buffet and she just looked at me and said, fine, what would you like from the back? It’s scary when the person supposedly responsible for your safety is so against helping. Maybe it was a bad day for the staff, but I enjoyed multiple meals at Disney this trip and this is the one I would 100% not recommend.
