We love Twist! We’ve been to both the Burlington and Millis locations a few times. We love the frozen meatballs & cinnamon buns. We love the banana chocolate chip muffins, cheese cake, and carrot cake. The Burlington location is adjacent to Kings bowling & to Wegmans, just off the highway near the Burlington mall.

I wish I could eat here every day! I love that this whole restaurant is Celiac safe. We had the monte crisco & the southwest omelette. Both were amazing, their GF bread is the best I've had!

The food here is amazing. 10/10 recommend to anyone. Bread is actually good and does not taste like card board. The desserts here are to die for - you would not be able to tell they were gluten free. I always get my desserts here for party’s and events. The atmosphere is also fantastic!!!

So good!!! The cinnamon buns are my absolute favorite, I've never had GF ones better than the ones here. Really good drinks as well, they use homemade flavor syrups which are delicious, especially the vanilla syrup. The breads & pancakes are fluffy but hearty too. I love the French toast.

Such a treat! This is probably the best place I’ve been for low fodmap- usually I go to a dedicated gf place and can only eat 1 or 2 things but here I could have much of the menu (lots of lactose free and allium free options).

The French toast was excellent – I’m not normally a French toast person but I loved theirs. I also really liked the vanilla celebration cake, ham and cheese pinwheels, and the BLT (awesome rolls). I ate all meals from here for a couple days, plus took several sandwiches and desserts with me for the rest of my trip.

Update: they are doing this new thing where they revamp an item (change its shape adjust the recipe a bit) and charge $1-$2 more. It’s becoming a bit crazy that a small blueberry muffin is $4.75. I get the whole inflation bit, but they have increased their prices by 100% on some items over the last year.

I'm a sensitive celiac and Twist has SENSATIONAL FOOD!!! 100% gluten free facility with EVERYTHING you could want for breakfast or lunch. Bakery items, sandwiches, pancakes, the list goes on. We visited from out of town and we drove 30 minutes out of our way TWICE for this goodness. I'd come back to Boston for this place alone. Gf oasis.

Visited the Burlington location; ordered online and picked up. Ordering online was easy; only issue was there was no place to make any notes to the chef/servers if needed. Pick up was quick and easy; the actual location was very clean, brightly lit and well kept. Plenty of parking in a large lot. The order was accurate and packed very well. The food was very tasty; chicken quesadilla was seasoned well with pico de gallo that didn't burn going down (was worried about that); also had cottage fries that were delicious -- came with homemade ketchup which was too sweet for me (but that's just me); my kiddo had pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon -- cleaned her dish! We also tried a ginger cookie and birthday cookie -- both excellent! My kiddo wanted one more treat: a vanilla cake pop. So, we purchased it separately when we went to pick up the food. She said it was exceedingly sweet, but liked it anyway. She did note that an "older person" with "older taste buds" probably wouldn't get through it.

I just want to say thank you to the owners and staff at Twist Bakery & Cafe for offering such a huge and delicious variety of sweet and savory foods, literally full service breakfast, lunch, and bakery. My family was traveling to Salem and one of our vacation highlights was lunch at Twist. My child who has celiac was so thrilled to feel safe to eat anything, which is a rarity. Truly a wonderful place.

The absolute best place to go for gluten-free and many other allergen-friendly diets around. Everything from the pastries and pancakes to chicken caesar wrap has been to-die-for delicious, even gluten-having friends and partners ask to go here. Allergens including dairy, nuts, and iirc soy are clearly labeled on almost everything with a useful color-coding system. As a gluten intolerant person I have never had a single issue with this dedicated gf facility. Service is always helpful and friendly, the place definitely gets busy during peak hours so consider ordering to-go or through doordash if you are in the delivery radius.

It’s heaven for celiacs…and the food is actually tasty too. So good that the rest of my family loves it.

Try everything but if you only have couple things to pick from then go with french toast, the thanksgiving day sandwich or the meatball sandwich. Bakery items are delicious too. They should open up more of these around boston and across the country.

Been coming here for years, EVERYTHING is dedicated GF and EVERYTHING is high quality and downright delicious. They are constantly adding new pastries/cookies/treats to try and their meals are amazing— huge fan of the pancakes, paninis, and quesadillas. For many years we’ve also ordered take home food from their holiday menu, including cinnamon rolls, Yule logs, and corn bread. Have never gotten sick as this is a dedicated facility and I can’t rave about it enough. Thankful every day for this GF safe haven!

Excellent place to have lunch and sweet treats, knowing that the items are made in a dedicated gluten free facility. We’ve eaten at Twist in Millis also, and this location is just as good.

We love Twist! It’s amazing to have a brunch place where we can eat everything on the menu. They make their own bread for everything, which is great! The portions are normal sized too!

They mark other allergens clearly and have dairy free cheese. They are a nut free facility besides coconut.

My few critiques: - A lot of the desserts are too sweet, especially anything with frosting.

- The sizes have been getting smaller, but the prices stay the same or increase. The chicken pot pie and mini hand pies are great examples.

- The menu doesn’t rotate enough. There’s never specials. I wish they had soup and quiche.

I really love that this place is 100% gluten free and truly appreciate that. That being said I find the food to be hit or miss. Their cinnamon rolls that you can bring home are to die for. However, I just recently got their French toast breakfast that came with eggs and bacon and found it be extremely bland and not worth paying the $22 for. The eggs had absolutely no flavor just a green garnish on top. The French toast looked really fluffy and good but it left me extremely disappointed.

Under new (and terrible) management sadly. This place used to be amazing but I have been here twice now, tried to order something that was fully on display and seemingly available, only to be told that it was not available. (Then...maybe move it from the display so it's not just hanging out there seemingly available for purchase?)

I asked why they didn't simply take the items out of the case and was told by the manager who had just popped up that they are "too busy" to do it. (Although it also seemed to take the cashier 5 minutes to check if it was available through their not-great system, so really using time and resources well. A+ management all around).

I asked what I *could* actually order,manager then spoke to me condescendingly telling me he was trying to help me and this is just how their system is, and that "everything else" on display was available, but how was I to know if this was the case since they clearly don't update anything? He also then backtracked and said "No wait, the rustic apple tarts are sold out too." In case you were wondering, yes, there were 4 of them in the display case. I really miss previous ownership - they never had issues like this and everything ran so much more smoothly. I don't like playing guessing games of what may and may not actually be on sale when it's openly displayed and no of no other business that would to this.

Again this has now happened twice so this is not just a one-time bad experience - it's how they operate, confirmed by the manager telling me this is how their system "works."

Fun fact - they are also too busy to clean bathrooms, which were gross enough I decided not to even use it.

This was a great quick stop for us while traveling. My Celiacs husband was very happy with the options and ease of ordering without any worry. The bread did have the “gummy” texture that’s not favorable but all in all it was a good spot!
