Review of Twist Bakery & Cafe

I feel horrible about my rating but I have to. I have seen all the glorious reviews. So made a day trip to go to twist on a Saturday morning. I went crazy and bought a lot of treats! Well over $100 worth of food! Got home to dig in on the goodies AMD so upset. Lemon square was so stale, could break a tooth biting it (no exaggeration how hard it was). Whoopie pie was also stale and crumbled in my hand. Vanilla cupcake had potential but could tell it wasnt fresh. Frozen meatballs had freezer burn, and taste was not bland. Coffee was burnt and dumped it out. List goes on. It wasnt cheap so I doubt I will be back. Just bummed such a highly rated place would serve stale goods. Good news I did not get sick and do consider it celiac friendly. My recommendation is to eat in! You'll know right away if any stale food issue.
