Ate in and it took forever. Over an hour, to be exact. Decent crust, not the best I've had.
best gluten free pizza i've found anywhere! my yelp review:
their gluten free pizza crust is the best i've found anywhere! it's really good! slightly crispy and thin. it isn't like wheat-based thin crust so don't try to make that comparison. it's gluten free!!! (i choose to avoid gluten i don't have to avoid gluten so i didn't quiz them about cross contamination prevention techniques.)
if you're looking for mainstream toppings you might be disappointed but if you're ready for something new and different two boots offers some really interesting stuff - and a huge variety. i'm a meat lover so i barely glanced at the veggie side of the menu but vegetarians and vegans should find some appealing options too.
i ordered 2 pizzas (both with gluten free crust)...the dude with spinach and mushrooms added and the cleopatra jones with basil added. we all tried some of both and were VERY happy with our meal. the flavor combinations were fab (with the additions - i suspect we would have been less pleased with the pizzas straight off the menu).
i did slightly miss the traditional red tomato-based pizza sauce that i've had on every pizza i'd ever eaten previously but firmly believe that if i'd had them use it the (fantistic) subtle flavors of the toppings would have been lost.
the only tiny bit of negative feedback is that i'd have preferred if the red onion on the c. jones were cooked a bit before being put on the unbaked pie. it was basically raw on the finished pizza and i'm not crazy about raw onions, especially red ones. this barely made a dent on my overall enjoyment!
a note about delivery - bottom line: i was told on the phone that you should plan for it to take about an hour. (the apt where i'm staying is probably a 10-minute drive from two boots.) i ordered on the twoboots.com website (and they use a cool service called chow now) and was shocked at the end of the ordering process when the app estimated delivery in 2 hours!!! it was a tuesday! (tho rainy.) so i called and the person who answered said yeah it could take that long but it was possible it would only be an hour (which turned out to be true). yunno how you feel when you read through menu options and you're SO ready for whatever you've selected? so with fingers crossed i hoped for "only" an hour for delivery. i've become spoiled by faster pizza and other delivery so be ready for this!
Phenomenal gluten-free pizza. Really understand the intricacies of avoiding cross-contamination and are working hard to make sure their offerings are safe for those with a variety of allergies/sensitivities/special diets. I got the "V for Vegan" pizza w/o Daiya which features non-dairy pesto, a real treat. The crust is unlike any gluten-free pizza crust I've had so far (in a good way) and the pizza was downright delicious without breaking the bank. Yes
They advertise gluten free pizza and that they make it on a separate tray. That is true.
They have a shared cook space, they ladle the sauce from the same bucket as all the other pizzas which touch gluten dough. The same bucket of cheese. There were no gloves or hand washing used in between pizzas. The same pizza cutter was used as gluten pizzas.
This place might be trendy gluten free but anyone with an allergy will get VERY sick. Do NOT recommend

Having to update— despite precautions I believe they take, there’s just too much cross-contamination for a sensitive celiac. I have gotten cross-contaminated twice (I tried to give it a second shot). Really sad to bid this place goodbye.

One of the best places for GF Pizza! Lots of dairy free options as well. They go above and beyond in preventing cross contamination. If you are in Nashville, go to Midtown and check this place out. Phenomenal! Confirmed gluten free on my NIMA.

I emailed and was told: “We do use the same sauce, cheese, toppings etc. but we have a separate cutter and plates. We use cornmeal to cover our normal dough, so exposure to flour is fairly minimal.
Not good enough for me when there are a ton of other places in the area. Getting sick just isn’t worth it. Appreciated his honesty though!

Admittedly, I’ve never been big on pizza but after being diagnosed I randomly started craving it. Two Boots doesn’t offer the best pizza but it’s also not the worst around. I mostly go here because they offer both gluten free and dairy free pizza, a seemingly rare combination that checks off all my boxes.
I can’t speak to other locations, but this one cross contaminates. However, I’ve found that the cross contamination tends to be worse when ordering non-gf pizzas with my gf one. If you don’t want to get sick, I’d recommend ordering in person and asking them to change their gloves and be extra careful to keep everything separate.
