Amazing food, flavors, cocktails and service. I’m celiac and enjoyed a LARGE part of the menu without fear. The waiter made note of my allergies for the kitchen.
I’ve been back several times over the years and have not had any issues. I ate dinner again last night! WE LOVE THIS PLACE!

Fantastic experience. I’ve eaten at his two restaurants in Anaheim, California and this is on par with those. Highly recommend!!

I had a decent time here. The food is very good but they don't have menu items marked, they server came out and pointed out a few things on the menu I could have. Then later as good came out they told me they had made other items gluten free. It was a little confusing.

Definitely would recommend for Celiacs!! Staff was very knowledgeable and kind. I am very sensitive, even from cross contamination and had no reaction. They had a menu with non-safe items and over half of the menu was celiac friendly so you actually had choices. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend the Pavlova as a dessert.

Delicious. The chef came to the table to meet us and completely accommodated.
I couldn’t do tortillas / chips but there was so much I could do.
Definitely worth the visit.

Server was very knowledgeable and immediately took the menu to cross out any items I could not eat as a celiac and was aware about cross contamination in the fryer. Food was delicious, would highly recommend!

Elaborate Mexican food close to the Magnificent Mile. Nearly the entire menu of appetizers and entrées is Gluten Free without any modifications. Only two gluten containing appetizers - steak tartare and shrimp aguachile (soy sauce). One gluteny entree is the burger(bun). You can eat everything else so you can actually CHOOSE. The dessert menu has only one gluten-free item and it is delicious. It is tapioca pudding with guanabana ice cream. The ice cream is garnished with small flowers, and the tapioca is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Has both indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. I will try to attach pictures of the menus.

Fantastic food and great with celiac. We ate here for both dinner and brunch. Food was amazing both times. The dinner menu has a lot more GF options but brunch was still great as well. Wait staff was very knowledgeable and even asked if it was for celiac. We felt extremely safe and did not have any issues. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. The steak tartar and mahi mahi were at the top of our list.

I think this is the best restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life (and I mean that literally). It’s true, you can’t have the chips if you have celiac, but that’s a GOOD thing because you need that room in your stomach for the incredible apps and entrees. The menu isn’t marked but the waiters are extremely knowledgeable and will check with the kitchen if there are any specific questions. My favorites are the mushroom cazuela, the octopus, the barbacoa, the chile relleno, and the mahi mahi, although in my experience you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu (unless, you know, it has wheat). I’ve also had the citrus tapioca dessert and couldn’t believe how tasty it was. This is definitely a “special occasion” restaurant, and you have to get reservations a few weeks in advance, but it’s just an incredible experience.

Shared frier so no chips/guac and many of the appetizers were out. Staff was excellent about checking and knowing what was ok. Entrees (chile relleno and mahi were excellent)

Staff are knowledgeable. Unfortunately uses a shared fryer so tortilla chips and guac were off limits
Amazing. We went for brunch and this has to be one of the best meals we’ve had in the city. I had the sopes, something new to me, and they were absolutely delicious with a good amount of heat. We can’t wait to return for dinner now. Nice patio too!

I love this restaurant. Very safe for celiac. Fried fish (fried red snapper) was fried in corn so it was safe and excellent! Not inexpensive.
