Wait staff assured me that most items could be modified to be gluten free. However, kitchen staff was NOT careful to clean surfaces, utensils, or avoid cross-contamination in sushi prep area. Edamame was cooked in same water as regular noodles. I don’t recommend this place for anyone who is celiac or gluten intolerant. Would give zero stars if possible.
I had a safe experience here yesterday. They had gluten free soy sauce and i asked for take-out chopsticks instead of the fancy wooden ones. They couldn’t tell me what the ingredients were in the sushi vinegar but they were happy to make my sushi with plain steamed rice. I had a sashimi dinner with a bowl of rice. The rice was good, the fish was fresh and delicious.

My favorite Japanese restaurant now has a gluten-free menu! The menu has 4 appetizers and 13 rolls on it. They have gluten-free soy sauce also!
