Pretty good, a small gf menu but it's not up to date. I've had the fajitas with their corn tortillas which is really delish. Not sure what else is celiac safe though.

Fair Mexican food. alright drinks. a 'gluten friendly' menu. I recommend the frozen strawberry margarita and the nachos. you'll need to substitute grilled chicken for the other meat options. worth the visit.
tl;dr - alright food. alright drinks. nachos.
Yes
Very limited menu, no dedicated fryer-chips,are not GF due to cross contamination, as are mist foods since there is shared prep area. Would not recommend for celiac's.
No
The GF menu is extremely small. The corn chips are NOT cooked in a dedicated fryer, and the tacos and enchiladas are cross-contaminated in the prep area. The nachos on the GF menu are not the nachos w/ all the goodies that you would expect, but a plate of chips and beans; however, we are not sure why those chips are GF where the chips w/ the salsa are not. I am going w/ a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup, and then going to Wegman's next door to get lunch. Being a Celiac, I would not recommend eating here.
No
Guacamole is delicious and the manager brings the gf menu to you and explains the options! It does have a small menu but the chips are gf and the chicken tortilla soup is delicious.
Yes
Barely anything on the "gluten-friendly" menu. Salmon and veggies were good, but basically the only entree available besides a salad.
Chips aren't truly GF as they don't have a designated fryer.
No
Had a GF "menu" which was a list of how a server modifies food to put in the system. Not a lot of options. Initial food came out wrong but they caught it. Was ok but would not eat there if I had a choice

Truly awful experience here. They now do have a GF menu, but it is extremely limited and every dish on it requires significant modifications. I tried to keep it simple and ordered two chicken tacos on corn tortillas. My plate came out with Mexican rice on it. As that contains gluten and it was touching the tacos, the whole plate had to be remade which took 25 minutes. My family was done eating their meals by the time mine came out and when it did, it was just corn tortillas, plain unseasoned chicken and hot sauce. Even the manager said, “we weren’t sure what you could you have so we gave you some hot sauce”. Really?! Felt like I was back in 1993. Get with it, Unlce Julio’s!!!! Based on this fact and many, many other mistakes the kitchen and my server made, I will never return.

this place is fine if you avoid the chips but there are limited offerings - you can email them for the list of limited gf menu offerings. These seem to change fairly often (they have updated their menu a few times in the last few years) but usually it’s ceviche, fajitas without marinades, salads without the taco shell etc. I posted a screenshot of their email from November 2023 with the gf offerings at the time and what could be modified to be gf. I do not get sick here but I’m not adventurous when I order here.

As a big uncle Julio’s fan prior to celiac diagnosis, it was disheartening to find out they have zero gluten free options. Everything is marinated in soy sauce and no dedicated fryer for chips.
