Not safe for celiacs! We ordered to-go and had the person who took our order repeat the order back on the phone to confirm it was right. When my husband picked it up, he again had them verify the order was correct. I ordered a gluten free bun with my burger, no mayo, and added pickles. My bag was bagged separate and said GF on the wrapper when picked up. However, my burger did NOT have the gluten free bun. I was suspicious because it looked too much like normal bread (IYKYK) - The gluten free bun was with my husband’s burger, which had my added pickles. Oh, and they put mayo on it too. Immediate bloat.

Excellent! The whole family loved it. They offered a gluten sensitive menu for my son with celiac offering lots of burger options and were very knowledgeable about celiac disease. The manager oversees the orders. They have a gluten free dedicated fryer with the best fries in town!

We have a good experience here every time we come. I ask for a manager to place our order. I ask for a glove change and to cook the burger on foil in a separate pan. They say they have a dedicated fryer. They have GF buns and vegan cheese. It’s my 5 year old’s fav place to eat in town.

Great food. Dedicated GF fryer. GF buns. Nothing is mixed in with the ground beef that would add gluten. Celiac daughter had a burger and fries with no problem. Staff was knowledgeable and kind.

Our food was really good. Dedicated GF fryer. I had the Strauss Burger with a side of fries. The bun held up to the burger. Service was really good. Servers communicated to the kitchen that it was an allergy. No issues.

Burger was great. They have a “gluten sensitive” menu that lists available options. Their fryer is not GF, according to that menu, GF side options were so-so.

I was a bit disappointed that they fry the chips and fries in the same fryer as their onion rings. There was not a good appetizer selection at all. There were some sides, however the fries were what I was excited about. They had a gluten free bun and it was pretty good and I had a side salad. The waiter was very knowledgeable and kind about celiac.

Ate here twice while in Chattanooga, 4 of us have celiacs and nobody got sick. The first time our server actually had celiac & the second time our server was very familiar. Felt very comfortable eating here! Best GF buns I’ve had in a long time!

The food was delicious. Staff was so nice and made sure all my stuff was gluten free. Very much attention to detail. Fry the French fries and the sweet potato fries in separate fryer. Gluten free bun was really good and soft.

Short wait. No one in line. Seated quickly. Table had visible food crumbs on it. I asked for table to be wiped down and was told oh that’s just remnants of the tape used during COVID. No it was not. I requested it be wiped down again, which she did. I ordered a simple bacon cheese burger with tomato, pickle, onion Mayo, mustard. I received a bacon cheese burger with about four tables spoons of ketchup and some overly sweet, disgusting grilled onions. Took forever for wait staff to reappear in dining room so I could ask for the correct condiments. Was edible once I scrapped it off and added those. Otherwise, bun was very grainy and fell completely apart. They do NOT have a dedicated fryer according to menu. Onion rings (not gf) are fried in same fryer that they use yo cool the fried foods on the gf menu. There is a far better burger establishment in Chattanooga that is more expensive and further away from home significantly. Next time I will take my money there instead of urban stack.

This place is over priced and not good. It’s my personal opinion. There’s not a lot of options and their constantly shoving their home made pickles down your throat and their not amazing.

I went here for lunch today with my boyfriend. I can't have wheat or dairy because of allergies. It's not life or death, but they make me nauseous. My boyfriend is vegan. We were hesitant about coming here because the website didn't mention anything about gluten-free options, but Find Me GF said it did. Our waiter was very accommodating and gave me the gluten-free menu and answered all of my questions.
They can do lettuce-wrapped burgers (free of charge) or gluten-free buns ($1 extra). As for vegan food, they definitely have a vegan burger and a vegetarian patty (unknown if it is also vegan), along with other vegetarian options like salads and sides. The GF bun was spongy and not the best, but I'm delighted they had the option! The vegan mushroom burger was good according to my bf, but the patty itself fell apart quite a bit.
The staff here blew us away.. I would highly recommend! My 8 year old got to have chicken tenders.. and she loved them( she is a hard sell)! The manager/cook came to talk to us. Best experience

Never gotten sick here. My husband has celiac and just gets a lettuce wrap. They are great!!
The wait staff, cooks, and manager were aware of celiac and they were amazing! Also, the gluten free bun was amazing.
Yes
Amazing service! Safe food! The manager is knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to ensure safety and quality. The only reason that I didn’t give 5 stars is that they have changed the process they use for making French fries and it is no longer possible to get safe fries. But you can still get safe sweet potato fries and the manager took the time on a busy Saturday afternoon to make potato skins for me. I highly recommend!
Yes
My college student son got sick here twice a year apart. He tried again because of so many positive reviews and things being marked GF. He thinks there is a cross contamination issue with the buns and condiments/toppings
No
Enjoyed the bacon burger with potato salad.

Amazing food, excellent gf choices, friendly waiters, great atmosphere, not expensive!

Urban Stack was amazing. Visiting Chattanooga on our honeymoon and was craving a burger. I am gluten and dairy free, and celiac. Matt brought out the recipe book to make sure the potato salad would be safe for me. The menu was huge, there were way more options than I am used to. I had the mamacita burger which has chorizo on top and it was absolutely amazing. Had a gf bun that was soooo soft. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger and loved his meal as well. 5 stars for Urban Stack. Wish we had one at home.

The staff here was great! I ordered my burger on a gluten free bun and the server immediately asked if I had a gluten sensitivity. She let me know that their regular fries are fried in the same oil as their onion rings but she could make the sweet potato fries in a separate fryer so they would be gluten free! Everything was great including the triple berry milkshake and everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful!

Have a great GF menu. Staff was great! Food delicious!

The staff was understanding and knowledgeable. The separate gluten free menu made it easy and stress-free to order a gluten free meal.

Delicious. Staff is knowledgeable from the moment you walk in the door. Very attentive and reassuring.
Went here specifically witg my 10 year old Because the Internet said that this place had an allergen sensitive menu they did not have my server said I could have all of two things with a dry salad the manager tried to stop me on the way out saying that no they could make me something but I'm not going to pay $50 for a meal that I can't eat anything but a hamburger patty on a dry salad no thanks
Yes
Delicious food! Many options available!
Good experience. They had a GF menu and the burgers were delicious (with a GF bun). Good atmosphere and friendly staff.
Burger was awesome! Manager took order & asked how sensitive I was with cross contamination. I hesitated (because I read other reviews so I didn’t expect that issue) and she said it mattered with the sides. I told her I was doing potato salad & she said I was good; guess CC is only an issue with cooked sides.
So nice to go somewhere that has a great burger, a great GF bun and they make you feel like they want to take care of you. Love this place and will defend go back when I’m in Chattanooga!

Today was my second time stopping at this delicious restaurant passing through Chattanooga. I got the yard bird on a gf bun. Super tasty, haven’t felt sick at all. My waitress made sure the manager and the kitchen were aware of my celiac. Will definitely be back! So far my experience has been Celiac friendly for sure.
Yes
I had the most delicious burger here with a gf bun and everything! It was the phillycheese burger. Sides we good too. Couldn’t have the fries though, shared fryer :(
We are visiting and ate here the first day ... and everyday since. They have the very best HF hamburger buns I’ve ever eaten. They order them from a bakery in Minnesota. The variety of burgers seems unending. I highly recommend! If you want sweet potato fries, call 20 minutes before you arrive and they will heat up fresh oil for your fries.

Enjoyed eating here after being diagnosed with Celiac disease. The staff were helpful and helped us find gluten free options. I enjoyed the chicken philly burger. The gluten free bun was ok, though I’m not a fan of most gluten free breads.
Yes
Great food, great service and they fired up a new fryer so we could have French fires. Very knowledgeable about celiac.

Have a good GF menu, staff seems to understand concerns. Has been no issues so far.

food was really good. the place is amazing, the atmosphere and the vibe was soo unique and warm. it's a redone 1897 train baggage building. Soo cool. I enjoyed the food however I did get a reaction, don't think the server understood the difference between being just gluten free and that of celiac. I still enjoyed eating there and my family (not celiac ) loved the food.
