My daughter likes the gluten free pizza. It was a great option when we arrived in Berlin since we were hungry after the long train ride, and great to pick up a pizza for the train on our way out.

I had a gluten free Margherita pizza (takeaway) - it was really delicious! Most all of the pizzas could be made GF but they also had some salads and other options GF too. Only small downside was the purchasing system was a bit confusing. Definitely would recommend for a quick and tasty meal!

We had gluten free pizza. The taste was good and almost every pizza could be made gluten free. The whole system of Vappiano is a bit clumsy, but it is a good option if you want to eat something quickly. Kind of like an Italian McDonalds.

Vapiano has one of the most unintuitive and needlessly complicated serving styles I’ve ever seen. First you get a card at the front desk on which you charge all your food to and then return to the cashier to pay for at the end of your stay. Then they send you to the bar to the far left where you order your food and drinks. Then they give you one of those vibrating things that lights up when your food is ready. When the thing lights up and vibrates you go to pick up your food - but where? All the way around the corner on the other end of the restaurant (which is not visible and has no signs directing you there). I ordered a gluten free pizza, which was room temperature even though it had just come out of the oven?? It didn’t taste bad but it didn’t taste good either. All I can say is, “it was food”. The only reason I can recommend this particular location is that it is in the train station. So if you have a layover and need to eat, this place technically has gf options. Also, it’s on the top floor, took me ages to figure that out. Zero indicators to location in the station.

Dedicated kitchen/cooking space and the chef washed his hands, changed gloves, had dedicated cookware to cook the gluten free pasta in front of us. We had the Carbonara and it was delicious!!!

Samen met mijn zoon pizza gegeten bij Vapiano Utrecht. Beiden zijn wij gluten en melk intolerant. Ipv kaas heb je de optie om veganistische kaas op de pizza te doen. De glutenvrije bodems worden in een aluminium bak geserveerd. Beiden geen klachten gehad na het eten bij Valiano.

Ze kunnen nog verbeteren door per ingrediënt van de pizza / pasta aan te geven welke allergenen het bevat.

They had gluten free pasta and pizza. I got pizza and it was fine. Pretty standard gluten free, kinda tasted like a store bought pre cooked gluten free pizza crust. It was cool that they had so many options though.

Man konnte zugucken, wie das “glutenfreie” Pinsa zubereitet wurde.. es wurden abwechselnd glutenhaltige und mein “glutenfreies” Pinsa angefasst, sodass mit Sicherheit eine Kreuzkontamination vorlag. Konnte das Pinsa nicht essen.

I have eaten here a few times. The quality and taste varies, but it is usually okay. Currently they are using a Schär dough for gluten free pinza. Unfortunately, it seems that the risk of cross-contamination also varies, since I had a reaction after my last visit. The other 8 or so times, I had no problem. Still, I will make sure to stress the fact, that I have celiac disease next time.
