Wow! This was one of the most flavorful meals eaten all year! The hardest part was choosing which items to try because there are so many great options and all are GF. All allergens are listed on the menu as well for those that have others.
This is a MUST visit place!
The drinks were equally visually appealing and delicious. My non-GF family also raved about it being the best meal they had in San Antonio, which is saying a lot because we ate very good food.
Love this restaurant! I’ve been multiple times and order something new every time I go. Everything has been so good and it’s so nice to be able to order anything on the menu. The staff is great as well, very friendly and knowledgeable about food allergies. Definitely recommend their Al pastor fries and tres leches pancakes if either of those are your thing!
So so good in every way!! Fast service! David was hustling the whole time. We went 3 days in a row on our trip. The food was deliscious and they handled my wifes 20 allergies with class and care. Totally gluten and dairy free. Flautas, al pastor tacos, and green enchiladas were all really tasty. The chips and queso were so good! Oreo milkshake to top it off. So so good. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner all day!! Wish we were in town longer.
Everything is GF and vegan. The menu is broad and diverse, and staff is very kind. We ate here once, and then because of how my trip schedule worked out, I ate my remaining 5 meals from here, too. I had:
-Breakfast Club: lots of flavor, bun is soft and chewy in all the right ways. Maybe a touch salty, but it was just what I needed, so I ordered it again for breakfast another day. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just right!
-Chickn and Waffles: I got this delivery, so the waffle had de-crisped a bit by the time I got it. But the flavors were good, the waffle was fluffy and light, and the chickn was still crispy. Syrup was ok, it didn't seem like pure maple, which is what I like best. But it was serviceable.
-Orange chickn: lots of veggies and flavor! I like that it's served over quinoa instead of rice, it's a nice change and felt like I wasn't just eating a super starchy, sugary meal (as orange chicken often can be). Great balance.
-BLTA: a satisfying, simple sandwich and fries. I really enjoyed the bread on this one, as well.
-Sunrise Hash: love to see so many veggies is this one, too. Very flavorful, not too starchy or too salty, so it's a great first meal of the day. Excellent.
All the meals were generous portions, and across the board they did not disappoint. I ate 6 meals from this restaurant in a 3-day trip, and got diverse and satisfying dishes each time. This is a clear winner in my book, and I will 100% be back next time we're in town.
I did not react to eating here.
You MUST eat here! The menu is entirely gluten free and the fryer is safe. A celiac’s dream! We had the tacos (one of each), flautas and buffalo mac. The al pastor was my favorite - great texture and flavor. The flautas were 🤌. Even the cocktails were worth writing a review! The hibiscus gimlet and lavender haze were amazing. You won’t be sad! 🤤
Got the tacos and the chips with cheese dip and they were amazing!! I only started getting sick after drinking the milk shake. Not sure if the whipped cream and chocolate drizzle were dairy free. As far as gluten allergy, no issues at all. They are supposedly certified gluten and vegan free. Only concern was milk shake toppings being dairy free. All in all, great food!
I always enjoy coming here! Food is so good every single time. Menu is pretty extensive, so everyone in my family is able to have lots of options (even with the picky eaters). Their Philly cheezesteak sandwich with sweet potato fries and honee butter chickn sandwich are my favorites. It’s a smaller space, so it does get pretty packed during peak busy times. However, absolutely worth the wait!
Ate here twice on a trip to SA. Got the honee butter chick’n sandwich and the sweet potato flautas. Both were so delicious and didn’t get sick after. Got the sweet cream cold brew too and that was amazing. Very kind employees as well! Definitely one of the best gluten free restaurants I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!!
My meal was great! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, the GF bread that came with it was good too! They are great with all allergies and clearly list all allergens in their foods on the menu. Portions were large and I couldn’t eat any more than a 1/3 of my dish, good value for the price
This place is amazing! Everything is gluten free and vegan and delicious. We had the Breakfast Club with fries and the Chick’n sandwich with hashbrowns. Everything was so good—my husband who has no allergies and is not vegan also loved it. Great coffee, service…ten out of ten.
LOVE AT 1st BITE!! Ordered the pancakes flight. We’ve all had GF pancakes that are thin, bland, & have a weird mouth-feel. These are not like that! If this weren’t a dedicated GF place, I would be wondering if they accidentally gave me the wrong order (“real” pancakes)… These were thick, fluffy, and chock full of delicious taste! Fruit was fresh and yummy, but my absolute favorite would have to be the Tres Leches YUM Can’t wait to try other dishes!! ps As others have said, cute place with a good vibe- and everyone’s very nice & helpful.
do not recommend. food was bland and overpriced for what i got. :( was really excited to try but disappointed :(
Everything here is gluten free and vegan and the menu is also clearly labeled with common allergens (soy, nuts, etc). It is easy to tell that the staff are comfortable discussing dietary restrictions and are able to make modifications as needed. Great dining experience and tasty food!
Delicious food, all gf and vegan. I had the nachos, my son had the buffalo Mac and cheese, my husband had the “chick’n” park sandwich. We are coming back for the shakes!
Stopped by for brunch (great vibe) while in town visiting a friend... ended up going back for dinner the next night! Yes! It was THAT good. The I heart ceviche is to die for, (dedicated GF fryer) fries were amazing as was the rest of the menu items I ordered. Bread/toast tasted so fresh and our cocktails at dinner were beautiful and tasty! Service was exceptional both days. If I lived in SA I’d eat here every week!
Great little place that is totally gluten free and vegan. Waitress told us the owner and chef is strictly vegan and gluten free, so everything is safe. The menu has breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, and all are served all day. I had ceviche and pancakes and they were both delicious. Husband had French toast, and other son had breakfast sandwich. Everything was tasty and filling. I definitely recommend adding this to your stops of you are in the area!
Ok wow. We got the Chick’n and Waffles, the Pancake Flight, the Cookies and Cream milkshake, and the lavender lemonade.
Everything was fantastic. The Tres Leches pancakes in particular! We’re not vegan, but we will be back. The 100% gluten and dairy free nature of it all PLUS being STELLAR makes it a safe and fun place to eat.
Entire menu is gluten free. Incredible pancakes and everything else I tried.
Stopped by on our mini vacay for some dinner and was impressed by the food options! Very heavily relies on soy/Tofu and cashews so if you are SF or NF then there are very few options.
I had the chicken and waffles and it was fairly tasty. The maple syrup dispenser hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like awhile which was a big turn off. They should switch to individual portions for multiple reasons.
I also asked about their beer options and though the server was nice they weren’t very educated on gluten when it comes to beer. I was told that Michelob and all the other brand names were naturally GF and their GF beer shipment didn’t make it in. I politely declined thinking there was definitely some confusion between liquors and beer from a staff education standpoint making me wonder what else could be wrong. Overall a positive experience and I didn’t have any symptoms the next day.
While a dedicated establishment from a food perspective, to me dedicated means no gluten whatsoever. As Celiacs can still react to distilled products made from gluten fairing ingredients they need to do a better job making sure their staff is informed on cross contamination to make sure their patrons are not unknowingly put at risk because of the few gluten products they do carry in the bar. Naturally GF doesn’t equate to fully GF for Celiacs as it’s still a possible risk.
Everything was gluten free, vegetarian, and DELICIOUS!! It's an hour drive from me and I can't stop coming back. As someone who is both gluten-free and meat-free, this place is a safe haven.
What an amazing cafe! The food was out of this world and the service from T and the chef was dynamic and personable. The Oreo cookie milkshake is a Must have! My sister, who joined me and is not vegan, said the “chicken” sandwich was the best chicken sandwich she has EVER had! I can’t have gluten, dairy, egg, or soy so it was nice to see those allergens clearly marked on the menu.
I have ate here two times and both times were great! I want their recipes! Food is so yummy.
