Review of Venga Venga Cantina and Tequilla Bar

I got glutened here. Stay away from anything fried and always ask about garnishes. The waitress told me a few options that were safe, I ordered a shrimp salad which is a lot like coleslaw, and after eating a few crunchy bites, I noticed crispy tortilla strips mixed into my salad. I asked about them and she was informed by the cook that they use flour when they are fried and suggested I simply just remove them since they are just a garnish! Once she figured out they were mixed in, she had it remade. They aren't very knowledgable about cross contamination and don't even have gf items on their menu. This place really doesn't belong on this app.
