Update 2018 They went out of business. Bronx Pizza moved in, and they have awful pizza. Don’t waste your time.

Update 2016 We eat here at least 1x month. Neither of us ever have any reactions. The staff is always courteous and friendly. Takes a bit longer to make the gf pizza, but it's well worth the time.

2012 review: Super friendly and knowledgeable. Very willing to accommodate. Best pizza I've had in years!!! I'll be showing up here weekly. And no, they are not related to me and I'm not paid to say this.

It has been a little while since I ordered at Versantes but my review is long over due. I hope they have improved but I will never go back. I would be very cautious if you cannot eat gluten for health reasons.

I called in a pick up order for a gluten free pizza and at the end of the call I clarified "gluten free, correct?" They said "yes - got it!" I sent my husband to get the pizza and when he picked it up he again asked " gf right?" The clerk said " Yes" but then added- well our gluten free pizza does have some gluten in the recipe (or mix? Don't quite remember) so my husband just stops for a second and what they said next was horrible! " Well it's just a little gluten so it should be fine" my husband gave them the hell no my wife will be sick and in pain for days deal. So what did they do? They somehow mixed up a fresh batch of gluten free dough with no gluten and baked this reject little pizza that was half the size of a plate- and charged us a god awful amount for the pizza I couldn't eat big gave me what I originally ( kinda) ordered for free- but it literally looked like a 4 year old made it :( I got food from another place and my husband ate all my " gluten free" pizza

If you are a celiac, and you value your health, stay away from this place. Cross contamination at every level of the prep and cooking process. Checked back after a year to see if they improved their safety, and one of the staff shows me the gluten free dough while their hands to their elbows are completely white with flour. %98 of restaurants stating they were gluten free failed on multiple points when surveyed by GIG. This one would not have made it through the fist 2 questions.

Good pizza! The dough is made in a dedicated facility off-site and cooked in a separate oven. Staff was super nice.

Super friendly staff, even when we came in 45 minutes before closing. Pizza was really good, crust was perfectly crispy and not too thin. Great atmosphere too. We will be back.

The pizza was very good (not my best ever, but tasty). The best part is that there is no extra charge for gluten-free crust. Yep, you heard it, exactly the same as a regular crust. The other place I looked at in town was charging $5 extra for gluten free.

My husband, a doctor who specializes in Celiac Disease and gluten intolerance was actually allowed back into the kitchen of this facility to see just how safe their pizza really is (just letting him back there was a great sign of the steps that this restaurant takes to keep their food safe!). Upon thoroughly assessing the preparation methods of Versantes pizza, Dr. Kremer was impressed by what he found! This restaurant appears safe and I (a celiac) have even had their pizza a couple of times. It is very tasty and I felt confident in the safety of their food.
