Very conscientious about options and cross contamination. They were a little confused because they recently added a non-gf fryer for a couple dishes but apparently maintained the others GF. Lots of options. Great spot.

Almost everything GF! Separate fryer. Loved everything - corn bites, scallops, soft shell crab, guac and chips.

Almost entirely gluten free menu! Great service, drinks, and seasonal food. The scallop taco was absolutely incredible, and the softshell crab was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend visiting this place.

Waitress seemed knowledgeable enough and brought my food out on a separate tray. I had no problems with any of the food.

Good food, celiac safe, verified with NIMA tester too.

I would not recommend for those with Celiac. I mentioned I had a “gluten allergy” as I always do to flag the staff that it is serious, yet my food came out on the same tray as my friend’s gluten-containing food. I ate it anyways as I noticed they were not directly touching, and because quality time trumps making a scene for me, but I do NOT recommend this place if you are extremely sensitive/symptomatic!!

We love coming here whenever we’re in the area! Best and freshest tacos And they do delicious lettuce wraps! Really nice chill spot to come with the family

The staff was knowledgeable with gluten free options. Gave me radishes to dip in the guacamole rather than the chips, which share a fryer with fried avocado. They offer corn shell tortillas

Celiac and Food Allergies Beware! Heard great things so went for hubby's 50th bday tonight. Immediately notified waitress of Celiac, & birthday; etc. She said, "We feed lots of Celiacs". I explained that I have severe reaction if exposed and she assured me; "no problem". Ordered guacamole appetizer w/ soft GF Blue Corn Tortillas and would spoon some over to hubby and he could have regular tortillas. (Her suggestion) It was strange, my blue corn tortillas came out first and she sat them in front of me. Mmmm. Then a male server brings out guacamole on plate with regular tortillas all over the plate and on top of the spoon ready to serve to me. He saw the look on my face and the blue corn tortillas in front of me and he knew immediately that it was not good, I told him I had Celiac and could not eat it. He took it back...I am worried now. Finally, plain guacamole comes out but I am too scared to eat it. Told him I can't eat it. Waitress comes over and I explain that I can't eat it, too worried about cross contamination. She apologized and said; "I did not know it could not be on the same plate". I said, "at the very least your kitchen should know this." She said; "I told them to change gloves". Changing gloves is no help if they don't know that you cant put GF items on same plate w/ Gluten items! My lettuce tacos come out and I am crying, because I can't eat it. I can't take a chance and miss 7-10 days of work. Another staff member comes over and I explain. Customers around us are noticing, but I am not making a scene..being very quiet about it all. Nobody who worked there was overly concerned. No manager to table, no chef out to talk with me. I watched my husband eat, got the check and they did not even take anything off the check. All we got was a half apology from uninformed server. I had to pay for the food that I could not eat. Asked for carry out container so my hubby could take it home. No manager, no concern. This is why I own my own GF Allergy Free Restaurant!

great food, delicious and very good about gluten cross contamination
Amazing place with some of the best guacamole I've ever had! Very knowledgeable about gluten & cross-contamination. Lots of choices on the menu.

Amazing food, knowledgeable about what is gluten free and what is not. NOTE: chips are NOT gluten free. Also, if you get the carne esada, ask for the sauce on the side. It is very spicy.

Good eats. It is small and difficult for larger parties, the food is tasty and they take precautions for gf (my food came separate and manager was available to answer any questions I had)

Excellent for Celiacs. My 11 year old son is extremely sensitive...one crumb or trace of contamination and he's sick for at least a week. Vida Taco Bar was amazing. They were very knowledgeable and able to accommodate most of the tacos. He had never had a lobster or scallop taco before and he loved them. They brought out soft corn tortillas for him to use for his guacamole. We were there yesterday and he did not get "glutened" We will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire staff for being so understanding and patient with my question and concerns. Always a smile and checked on us several times to make sure everything was OK.

I went for dinner after what they said was a particularly busy night and they worried their fryers could have been cross contaminated-they brought me out baked chips without me having to ask. I felt really taken care of!

GREAT GREAT GREAT place to go!! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about what was gluten free and what wasn't. The menu was already labeled but the staff went out of their way to ask about any dietary restrictions. Would highly recommend especially for a first or second date!!!
Staff were highly educated on allergy. There are a lot of options and the food was fantastic.

Celiac friendly!! Many options on corn tortillas or lettuce wraps.
There are so many delicious gluten-free options on the menu. (Carne asada was my favorite.) I'm visiting Annapolis and wanted to try lots of new restaurants. However, I ate here two days in a row for lunch since I enjoyed it so much!
Most tacos can be made gluten free with corn tortillas or lettuce wraps. Great variety of flavors and options. Margaritas are the best in town- fresh and simple.
Almost everything is gf! What's not to love!?
If you're looking for GF tacos, you've found THE BEST option in Annapolis! Vida can make just about everything on the menu gluten free and the staff is insanely knowledgable about gluten allergies. They took extra care to make sure that I felt comfortable eating the food that came out of the kitchen and the owner took the time to come out to our table to chat with us. They also went above and beyond to bake some separate gluten free chips for me in the oven so that I could eat the guacamole! AMAZING tacos, DELICIOUS margaritas, and AMAZING service!!!!
