I have Celiac and I felt at risk but wanted to give this diamond in the ruff the opportunity to prove to be safe. My server was the sweetest person I have met in a long time. She took the time to tell me the care the owner takes and methods he uses in order to be as safe as possible for those in need. She also admitted that she understood the fact that there could be flour in the air as they also make regular pizza. I ran an Italian restaurant in the past before I knew I had celiac. I can truly appreciate the trouble this man goes to in order to make this happen. Fresh Pizza is my toughest loss since being diagnosed. I split a gluten free sausage, pepperoni and onion pizza with my husband. It was two days ago and I had no issues. I highly recommend Vinny’s Italian Kitchen for gluten free pizza! It was delicious.

We wanted to order the lasagna, but they said it was unavailable that day, so we got a penne dish instead. It was very good and would feed 3 adults with generous portions. There were also GF desserts available which were amazing. Owner was knowledgeable about cross contamination. Prices were at least $5 more than what was listed online for GF entrees.

Had great gluten free pizza!! They cooked it on an aluminum pan in the pizza oven. Tasted great.

Great variety of GF offerings. I asked if the water was fresh for GF pasta and was told, “of course”. (Good answer)
It isn’t a place to eat at, but there are some tables on the patio if you don’t want to take it to go. They have take and bake GF options as well.

It sounds like an exaggeration to say I want to cry when I eat the GF eggplant parmigiana but I assure you, it is not. Having grown up in NJ with some absolutely amazing Italian food, my fav being eggplant parm, has made me extremely shall we say ‘selective’ in my Italian food. So for me finding good Italian was hard for me to begin with. When I was diagnosed gluten sensitive, I honestly never thought I would eat any decent Italian again, let alone my beloved eggplant parm. Over the years I have found good GF Italian across the country but nothing like this. Vinnie’s is hands down my absolute fav Italian place that reminds me of my childhood favorites back in NJ and, hold on to your britches folks, they have GF eggplant parm!! No joke, it tastes EXACTLY like what I remembered from my favorite place growing up. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Now that I am a local, I get a tray of my beloved GF eggplant parm every week and some GF bread. Vinnys also offers other GF pastas and Parma, desserts and salads and while everything I’ve tried has been amazing. I absolutely recommend this place for any Italian food lover but especially GF Italian food lovers. And for the record, while my husband cannot prove that I specifically bought a house in the area to be near Vinnys, I think he has a strong suspicion ;^)

“Our lunch spot” only 5 minutes walk from the beach and gluten free pizza is really good. Cafe has a nice and friendly vibe.

The past reviews were true! Just be aware that this is more Italian deli with outside seating options and no servers. We shared an order of chicken parm (no breading) plus pasta, garlic bread, with an almond tart and chocolate cake. All GF. Vinny was very hospitable and made a wine recommendation which they sell by the glass. A great experience.

My daughter is celiac and extremely sensitive. We weren't planning on buying food for her, but the owner was very knowledgeable about celiac. He prepared a special cut of meat just for her along with sealed gf bread. No problems. There is also gf pasta, although we didn't try it.

I spoke to the owner of this Italian Market. He was extremely accommodating and helpful. They have many gluten free pasta options as well as 2 dessert options! They also made an off-menu entree for my husband who was on an elimination diet for other health related issues.
Overall, very helpful staff and yummy food plus gluten free dessert! Yay!

This was hands down the best Italian on the island and the owner Vinnie is the sweetest most accommodating man! We got take out 3 times while on vacation! All the pasta dishes are wonderful however I will warn you that the pizza was not “edible” to me (sorry Vinnie... I still love you!). I think maybe it was a store bought crust? But I really appreciate the effort of this restaurant to offer GF dishes. I would just avoid the pizza but there is a large menu of gf pasta dishes to choose from! And don’t forget the desserts!!!! I would give this place 10 stars if I could for variety and customer service!
The owner is so careful an accommodating...and the pizza crust is delicious! So many options!!!
Ganache cake is amazing!!!

I went here due to the fact that I found a GF review of this establishment. I must say that I am disappointed. When we arrived, we inquired about the process for their GF pizzas. To their credit, the owner/operators immediately asked if I was celiac- which is a yes- and advised me not to order anything.
You see, they make their own dough on site, and they are concerned about flour dispersal in the air (it's a TINY establishment). Given the frequent batches made, they pretty much assured me that everything would have a fine coating of gluten.
This place has knowledgeable staff, but is only OK if you're a casual GF diner. For the staff knowledge, I am rating this a 3. For fellow Celiacs in the area, I recommend Vertoris, who have yet to gluten me.

I ate the best gf/df pizza I have ever had! Vinny is a pizza artist!
