They gave us all wheat filled food after saying they understood celiac. When confronted with the mistake the worker said “you said celiac not gluten free.” Enough said. My mom was very sick as she took a bite before I noticed our food looked like wheat bread not gf. Not safe.

Update: It’s been forever now and they ACTED genuine towards the incident at first then literally ghosted us and acted like we didn’t exist. They didn’t even offer us a lousy gift card or any apologies. Terrible company, terrible people. I don’t think someone going into anaphylaxis could fix them without them first being sued for it. Not safe for any allergies.

One star for having a GF bun. The rest was a disaster. We were on the takeout side and could see the craziness of the kitchen. The cashier had no idea about GF, the fryer, or any questions we had. We asked to speak to a manager....and we got the most uninterested manager who just nodded and said “yup” to all my questions while backing away the whole time. My husband ordered hesitantly while I left and ordered GF BBQ for my son from another restaurant. When we got home we checked our bag and everything was wrong. We did have one burger with a GF bun. We had no onion rings that we had ordered, we had an additional 3 burgers that we didn’t order, and my “plant-based” burger was made of meat. Sigh. I was so excited to try this restaurant. We won’t be back.

They served us all wheat food even though our ticket stated allergies, celiac, gluten, dairy. When I said something to staff he laughed and stated you didn’t say you can’t have wheat. They were going to remake the food and I said no. They gave us back our money but management has yet to respond. It’s been approximately 5 months. I have reached out to Wahlburgers multiple times both via email and phone. An Admin called me that was it. They don’t take allergies seriously and they obviously don’t care.

Good for celiac, buns are untoasted and kind of dry but no cross contamination. Careful which sauces you add as some contain gluten.

Had the original burger and fries and it was delicious!!! Didn’t get sick!! Also had a Redbridge beer. Our server was nice and knowledgeable.

I’ve eaten here so many times and never gotten sick. Most things on the menu can be made gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer so you can eat fries and tots. The bun is good (I think it’s Udi’s) and the staff seemed knowledgeable.

I’ve safely enjoyed GF fries and burger at the Hingham Shipyard location, but was definitely glutened at this Brookline Ave location. My server seemed knowledgeable and confirmed they had a dedicated GF fryer. Nevertheless, today I’m hurting.

I went here after reading all of the fabulous reviews.

However, I was told they do not have a dedicated fryer, so that eliminated about half the menu. This is critical for anyone who is Celiac. The server was not interested in helping us at all. My friend's order was completely wrong and was given attitude when she asked for it to be fixed. Maybe it was an off day, but I will not be back.

Food was great, including gf burger bun. Dedicated fryer was nice. The waitress we had didn't seem interested in doing anything more than necessary to help me with gf options, but the rest of the staff I talked with in passing were exceptionally polite, so I might have caught them at a bad time.

Pretty much everything could be gf except the onion frizzles and bbq sauce.

We had a wonderful blonde waitress today who understood and guided us through our gluten free meals. She made sure to accommodate my celiac vegetarian dairy free daughter too. All meals were freshly made.

Had a great experience here (and even met Paul Wahlburg!) - I got the BBQ Bacon Burger (no bbq sauce-not gfree) on a delicious gluten free bun with a side of tator tots (they only fry gluten free items in the fryer). Though it took a little while for our food to come out and it was on the pricier side, everything was delicious and I will definitely be back soon!

This is my celiac son’s new favorite place : ) GF French fries! The comment about the separate fryer concerned me, so I asked about it. They do not need a separate fryer because everything that goes in there is gluten free. 😃

Fantastic!! I had the Our burger on a GF bun. Sauce is GF. GF tator tots. GF homemade ranch dressing for the salad. Delicious and extremely reasonably priced burger joint! Hangin tough!

Normally I skip the GF bun, but this round I forgot to ask for no bun. So glad!! It was amazing!!! So amazing that I was questioning if it was really GF. I'm sure it's not healthy, but it was absolutely delicious!! Can't wait to go back

Went for the love of the Wahlbergs and burgers, left happy and full! Aside from being a cool place to go into and check out all the memorabilia on the wall, great tasting food! I usually do not order my burgers on a roll since gluten free rolls can be difficult, but was starting and tried this one. So glad I did, the roll was so soft and fluffy, I was in heaven! Burgers are delicious and so many options to choose from. Fries and tots are cooked in a dedicated fryer, so it was nice to share. We were there before a Red Sox game and it was incredibly busy, so sadly, our fries and tots were not cooked well enough, but still tasted good. Staff is very knowledgeable and aware of all the ins and out of gluten free!

Food is okay. Safe. Nothing special. Expect to WAIT WAIT WAIT. Service takes forever. To go food and table service come out of same small kitchen. Don't expect to be in and out. 20 minutes on a non-game/event day for take out! Easily 45 on an event night!

When I mentioned that my child needed gluten free for a medical reason, the order taker asked it it was for celiac disease. Very knowledgeable about what was gluten free. The GF buns for the burgers and chicken sandwich are outstanding! Fries are GF and are also delicious.

My go-to place for a GF burger. I love Jenn's Chicken Sandwich, the sandwich burger, and the fluffanutta! So delish. Their fries and usually seasoned yummiliciously, and their sweet potato tots are another one of my faves.

The past 2 times I visited, their food (fries, sweet potato tots, and sandwich burger) weren't as delicious/seasoned as other previous visits.

Update 4/17/16: Visited on 4/13/15, and the fries and burger were seasoned well and were tasty--the way I remember them being. This was even after a Fenway Park rush!

This time I had the OFD for the first time. It was good. Would I order it again? Yes.

I asked for window seating and they gave me an exclusive private corner of the restaurant where I was surrounded by a wall of floor to ceiling windows!

Burgers are pretty good. I am not sold on the quality of the food, but I've eaten there several times with no issues. Servers always seem aware and they have separate fryers.

The only thing that could have made it any more awesome was if Donnie came by. ;-) This place is great!! They are very GF aware and GF friendly. To the point where it's really no big deal

I'm a fan of any place where my celiac son can get french fries so admittedly I am biased but that being said, they have GREAT fries. The staff was super accommodating and took the celiac thing seriously (though the server did accidentally tell me the onion rings were GF- I knew better). the burgers and salad were really good. GF buns. For the non GF the onion rings are fantastic.
