Absolutely not. Not safe at all. I absolutely used to love going here and me and my boyfriend would come here anytime we wanted hibachi because it was the only place that I knew (not anymore) had gf. So everytime we went I would feel sick after but I always figured it was something else or something. Then the last time we went I asked for gluten free and said I have celiac disease and asked questions like I always do. They never understood very well what I meant. And then before my food came out the waitress brought out "gf soy sauce". I looked at it and wheat was a listed ingredient. I'll insert pictures.
Most of the items were able to get GF. Waitress was very knowledgeable, said order what I wanted, they make all GF orders in the kitchen on clean utensils (they can’t guarantee no cross contamination at the hibachi tables, so watch the show for other people’s meals, and enjoy your safe meal from the kitchen).
Had the shrimp and scallops hibachi dinner, (they had GF soy sauce they use for fried rice) and it was delicious and well done.
Felt very confident they knew what they were doing, and no issues afterwards. Well done.
My meal was excellent! The staff was knowledgable and said they clean the kitchen before cooking. They made my meal in the back and brought it out in time to eat with everyone at my table. They had gluten free sauces.
