Review of Watermark Restaurant

I called and asked about gluten free dining and was told "I think we have bread." So naturally we went in person to confirm if there were more options than just bread. We were assured that yes there would be plenty of gluten free options. Upon arriving for dinner, the hostesses had no idea about what gluten free is and called a manager. She said anything without au jus is fine. Our waitress said the au jus IS fine. To play it safe i got the risotto, which came out with a piece of fried squash on it, a big no no. We sent it back and the same dish came out a minute later and we were told it came from a dedicated fryer. Don't believe this since everyone had no idea about gluten allergies the whole time. The portions for everything were tiny. A $13 salad was just one strip of lettuce. The salmon was the size of a fork. Would definitely not return especially for the prices paid. Not aware at all about gluten free dining. The bread, however, was good but did not come with separate dip.
