Menu was clearly labeled and staff educated. I informed the cashier I was celiac, and he flagged one of the toppings on a gluten free taco as being made in a shared fryer, which was very appreciated.

This place was great! Hubs is a super sensitive celiac and had zero issues eating here. All corn tortillas for tacos. Gluten free items are labeled. Atmosphere was amazing! Sitting on the river ;)

Had a fish taco and then ordered a second one. Yum. Cute place along the river park and near the Wednesday farmers market. Did not have a reaction.

Absolutely amazing. Told the staff I was celiac so they cooked my taco on top of foil to prevent cross contamination. Chips are not in a dedicated fryer though. Felt great after! Tons of gf items marked on the menu

I didn’t try the chips but I did order two tacos with a star for gluten free on it. Very good and I didn’t feel sick afterwards. The last time I went here I had the worst stomach ache. Celiac be careful but this place is very hot or miss for me.

Thanks to a recent reviewer, we asked last night whether the chip fryer has floured (gluten) cooked with the chips. The restaurant menu board marks the chips as gluten free. They are not, and other menu items marked gluten free are also cooked in the fryer the Manager said. Manager said the fryer was hot enough to kill the gluten proteins making it SAFE. Of course that is false. If Celiac, avoid this place.

They had several gf options. Their chips and queso were amazing. I had the steak and cheese taco which was okay but the Korean beef taco was awesome! Wish I would have gotten 2 of those. I also tried their gf dessert, Mexican Chocolate Pot du Creme w/ Pistachio Nut Crunch, but was not a fan. Service was top notch. Definitely recommend and would eat there again.

This is my go to place! I drive 45 minutes to eat here. I have had many many tacos like over 100 and never ever an issue! Love there duck taco and pork belly!!! many say the fish is great but I dont eat fish. the flalfel is good too but spicy for me.

Omg this is delicious. I had Korean beef, carnitas and fish. The carnitas and beef are the best thing I’ve eaten this week.

Amazing tacos! Stars are marked next to GF items. I got the crispy pork belly, fish, and steak and cheese tacos! Also a watermelon sangria. Long lines so order everything you want all at once 10/10 :)

This was on our list of Restaurants we wanted to try while on a visit to Asheville, we had our dog with us so we went to the location slightly outside the city. We had a amazing experience, plenty of outside seating, water bowls for the dogs. The GF tacos were clearly marked on the menu board, staff were great with answering my questions, all the tacos were delicious, my husband had a few I did not taste since they were not GF but he said they tasted great. Overall a great experience and would come back again.

Fast service, good food. Corn taco shells and many gf filling options. Contaminated frier so do not order anything fried. Staff knowledgeable about cross contamination and made recommendations. Chips are not gf nor are pork belly or shrimp tacos. Very happy with experience and would go back! Relaxed Riverside seating and good vibe.

I’ve been here 3 times recently because it’s so good! They have tons of options and almost everything is GF. The staff is knowledgeable and will change gloves if asked. They have incredible queso.

Update: the zorba taco, pork belly taco and chips are not celiac safe. They are gf but use a shared fryer. The owner was kind enough to let me know!!

Had several gluten free options about 5 or 7 taco options. They seemed knowledgeable about cross contamination, knowing the chips were in a shared fryer, and they could wipe down a portion of the grill. Am only gluten sensitive but haven't had any issues the 8 times I've been there.
