I visited the place on the 11th of January at their bakery on Clarence Street because of the good reviews but I was very disappointed about the quality of both croissant š„ and Tarte au citron concerning the pastry part. Both were too heavy and compact inside. Specially the croissant which has got a nice butter scent was hard like a bun inside. Well it is very difficult to make a gluten free croissant and wholegreen bakery is not there yet. The lemon cheese and the Meringue of Lemon tart were enjoyable, but the tart itself were not enjoyable. Another thing I noticed was, that the staff was very vague concerning what kind of flour they use. “gluten free plain flour’ they call it, that explains the rather low quality.
