I asked the waitress for a gluten free menu which she provided. I then handed her my celiac card and asked her to give it to the chef. She said it wasn’t necessary and management would come out and talk to me, which he did. I tried to hand him my card again, he didn’t take it so I explained about cross contamination, I needed my omelet cooked in a separate pan that had been cleaned well, etc. when I ordered gluten free toast I asked if it was toasted in the same toaster as regular bread and she confirmed it was so I told her no toast. The manager was still there when she took my order and she asked how to indicate celiac on the order, he told her no need he would talk to the chef and walked off. Well sure enough after all that I still got sick. I will never go back!!!
