They had gf pancakes and bread. They were pretty good. The stack of pancakes came out with 5 massive pancakes

Good food and waitresses understood my needs. I’m highly sensitive to gluten and after reading another review about the shared toaster I skipped eating the toast that came with my breakfast.

Waitress was very nice and seemed knowledgeable about my needs being gluten-free. However, within an hour of leaving there I was sick from an exposure.

They use a shared toaster and griddle. Would be fine if it were a gf preference, but sucks if you’re celiac or intolerant.
Server suggested oatmeal for celiac. I believe they are not knowledgeable in allergens. IMO.

Great gf pancakes and gf menu of breakfast items all gf
Went to Wild Eggs as it was literally across the street from our hotel. I looked up reviews and was slightly apprehensive. But figured we would go and speak with the waitress and leave if we needed to. Well our waitress Jen was amazing! I had their gf menu and spoke with her and asked important questions. She assured me things we gf and prepared safely. She answered all my questions and I felt great! We ended up going 2x since the first day was great! I got the farmers market skillet with grits. I would definitely reccomended and just ask questions to make sure you feel comfortable.

I asked the waitress for a gluten free menu which she provided. I then handed her my celiac card and asked her to give it to the chef. She said it wasn’t necessary and management would come out and talk to me, which he did. I tried to hand him my card again, he didn’t take it so I explained about cross contamination, I needed my omelet cooked in a separate pan that had been cleaned well, etc. when I ordered gluten free toast I asked if it was toasted in the same toaster as regular bread and she confirmed it was so I told her no toast. The manager was still there when she took my order and she asked how to indicate celiac on the order, he told her no need he would talk to the chef and walked off. Well sure enough after all that I still got sick. I will never go back!!!

Got an omelet and “GF” skillet potatoes (marked specifically on online menu)...the potatoes were lined with bits and pieces of fried chicken skin...I called to ask about it and all they could say was there was risk of cc but that the potatoes are fried separately. There was clearly fried chicken in that frier basket at some point. Maybe an off experience but won’t be doing that again...

I ordered An A.C.E of B.L.T (gluten free version) and Nima tested it, it came back gluten found. I went with my family and 3 orders were messed up. The server insured me that it was gluten free and that they take precautions but obviously didn’t. They do NOT have a separate toaster for gf so I asked for the bread to not be toasted but I could tell it was as it was hard around the edges/crust, I also had a family member show me that. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.
No
Got the corned beef hash and had no issues. They confirmed they would change their gloves and use separate utensils.

While on a trip to Louisville, I saw the Wild Eggs on my app. It focused on breakfast meals and so I thought I'd try it out one morning I was in Louisville. The have a fairly good GF menu, but unfortunately, I didn't see pancakes on the menu. I ordered one of the omelets (shrimp with a Creole cream sauce. It came with GF toast. The food was good. The server knew how to process and handle my meal. I believe there was an extra $1 charge for the GF toast. My Celiac presents itself as blisters/sores in the mouth, which take 48-72 hours to appear after eating contaminated food. Within that time frame I experienced no problems. I'd definitely eat here on my next trip to Louisville. Beware that it closes in mid afternoon on weekdays and about an hour later on weekends. Parking along the street is limited; but there is parking in a pay lot next to the building, which if memory serves me was $3 for Wild Eggs) good for 2 hours. There's not many alternatives for GF food in the area.

Gluten free menu is excellent. Plenty of options. Price is right. Do wish there french toast or pancakes where also dairy free but I know those are to come by. Highly recommend. Celiacs beware!!! Kitchen is not dedicated but we had no problem
Great brunch and lunch. Servers and kitchen staff are well informed just remind them of your need for gluten free. The strawberry pancakes are amazing.

Great place for breakfast in Louisville. Delicious omelets and the potatos were outstanding. Gluten-free bread available at a slight additional charge. Highly recommend.
Great spot for breakfast. The staff was very accommodating, and the food was delicious. They even have gluten-free bread, but not dedicated toasters, the waitress warned me.
Yes
Excellent staff, gf pancakes were so big, I thought they brought me “regular” ones, I look for Wild Eggs whenever I travel

Had two amazing experiences here! They had a gluten free menu and the servers totally understood what I needed...confirming they even had a separate toaster for their gluten free bread. I had the Surfer Girl one morning and the Jimmy the Greek another morning. Great portions. Never felt sick. Would do back again.

Another visit another fantastic breakfast. Every GF item I have here is delicious. Menu is packed with options.
They have gluten free bread for toast, which is always a nice option! The waitress was helpful with picking out gluten free menu items. Good breakfast!
Great staff and knowledgeable about gluten free options. Eat here frequently with no issues.
They have a gluten free menu including gluten free toast. I had the breakfast nachos with Chorizo. They were yummy!

I ordered the farmers market skillet with gluten free potatoes off of the gluten free menu. The server flagged my meal as a “gluten allergy” as well. Unfortunately I got sick, and I had one of the worst reactions I’ve had in years. I would not recommend eating here.

I’ve ordered from this restaurant twice now. I am normally a wild eggs fan but this one does not seem to take allergies seriously. The first time I ordered I had ingredients in my omelet that I didn’t order so in fear of safety I didn’t eat it. This time they gave me the regular potato’s, not the gluten free ones so I again didn’t get to eat. Do not go here if you have an allergy

There is a gluten free menu, but not a dedicated facility. I would stick to what’s on that menu. I have unfortunately eaten the French toast before. I wasn’t aware until today that it’s cross contaminated. They offer it gluten free on their main menu but the batter contains wheat and they dip regular and gluten free bread in the batter. Safe to say that wait staff isn’t knowledgeable and I would definitely speak to management/chef that it’s an allergy/celiac.
