Review of Wild Tomato Wood-Fired Pizza and Grille Fish Creek

RIDICULOUSLY delicious! As a long-time DC visitor, I am thankful that it is getting easier to find GF here on our vacations; Wild Tomato was so good I was afraid my daughter would over-eat (which rarely happens as GF options can be so dry, "chokey," and bland). We got the hot artichoke dip with GF bread (Udi's) along with the wildfire bread basket for the rest of us and she loved it! They make their own pizza dough, but my teenager has had many a bad experience with GF pizza, so she went with the GF Mac and cheese which was also a huge hit (they forgot to add the chicken, but no big deal) and she finally slowed down and brought some home for the next day. Since we were on a roll, we got two GF peanut butter cookies to go and all shared one later in the evening. Delish! Great place for a family of mixed eaters and well worth the wait time to get seated.
