great burgers, Fries unfortunately are cooked in the same oil as gluten foods. Friendly staff and knowledgeable.
Great burgers. They are pretty big. My 6 yr and 9 yr old boys only ate 1/2. Fries are fresh cut and cooked in dedicated fryer. Other gf options include chicken sandwich and ice cream for dessert. Not a huge gf menu, but it's a burger and fry place, so get the burger and fries! Yummm.
Lots of GF and vegan options! Manager mentioned his child has allergy so he was are of how his all works. I didn't see certified but there are burger buns (not the crappy styrofoam kind) that were delicious!! Onions rings, fruit snacks even cake was GF. No egg free desserts other than ice cream so we had to pass. Defiantly coming back for the vegan burgers! Pricey, but it's local food
Awesome!!! Celiac menu available. They are very clear that you cannot substitute anything on the menu if you have celiacs. Not to worry, the burger was fantastic, the bun was soft, and I got to eat fries with my family! They recommend ordering all fries for the table off the GF menu so there is no risk of contamination. The fries are cooked in dedicated oil. The GF order was placed separately and delivered on a separate tray. My non-celiac family members were equally excited with the food and all want to go back too. Everyone was happy! Can't wait to go back!!!
Very yummy food! Gf onion rings, French fries and chicken tenders! I'd pass on the fries next time and get more onion rings they were way better than the fries which were kind of soggy and somewhat burned. Chicken tenders were nice and crispy and no reaction! Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful!
I got the Willy Burger with a side of fries and it was delicious. When you enter the restaurant they hand you a menu(request a gluten free one) and have you figure out what you want to eat. Then you enter your order and ask if you choose to be gluten free or have celiac and mark the order to symbolize your choice. You then grab a booth and wait for your number to be called. This place is the go to place for people with celiac and who eat gluten free. I just got sick a few weeks ago from gluten at another place and this place made be feel safe from gluten.
The burger I ordered exceeded expectations. It was full of flavor and no cross contamination. They even have a fryer devoted to gf fries which are phenomenal! I didn't give five stars because the service was awkward. Not being there before I didn't understand that you ordered first then grabbed an available seat if there was one. It's a small place but very popular! They were packed. Knowing what to expect from now on I'm sure I'll have a better rating to give.
So disappointed! I've never been to a Wild Willys so I didn't know what to expect. While ordering I was still excited, based on the prices I thought it was going to be good quality and delicious burgers and sides. But it ended up being way overpriced garbage. The food was greasy and tasteless. And my boyfriend ordered mac and cheese as a side and it was legitimately Kraft macaroni and cheese out of the box. I'll never go back.
Wild Willy's in Worcester is one of my favorite places. They are incredibly accommodating of celiac disease, and the owner has told me to let him know if there's anything else I'd like to see there gluten free. They have all my favorites though! GF chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, fish and chips, burgers, fries, etc. It's a must try!
The burgers are great & I've never had a reaction here. I'm only giving it three stars because the french fries are prepared in the fryer with glutened items, so not being able to complete the meal with fries is a huge negative for me. The Quincy location has gf fries.
This place is unbelievable with a great selection of gluten free food. They occasionally introduce "specials" such as mozzarella sticks, pigs in a blanket, cheese/bacon/potato balls, etc and they are all gluten free. Burgers are cooked as ordered. Service is great. Beware... not ALL Wild Willy's have gluten free items. Go to the one in Worcester. It's the best!
I have Celiacs Disease and the gluten free options have not made me bedridden! Sometimes it's hard to trust places and sometimes you have to take the blow if its cross contaminated, but this place is so delicious - gives me hope for future restaurants to accommodate for my disease. Love the food and love the atmosphere!
Great, great GF burgers. They are very knowledgable about what is safe for celiacs, and for those who are just " gluten sensitive". That being said, in order to have your GF burger to be safe for a celiac, there are limitations such as not putting your bun on the grill (needs to be toasted) and only certain toppings are safe because of cross contamination from the spoons. (No sautéed onions!) I have mixed feelings, because when Wild Willy's was in Portland, they had a special GF section on their grill, and ALL toppings were available. BUT, here in York, the French fries are made in safe friers and are delicious!! Also, when we were there, the white vinegar on the tables was distilled, and safe! Yum! The one thing we really noticed though was an attitude from the front staff, possibly because of ordering GF. Very uncomfortable. All in all, my husband and I will probably be back if we're down there again.
Had a wonderful meal with my husband for a date night. Told them I was GF, and they were great. A very tasty GF bun for my awesome burger and the French fries were safe to eat too. Even their chicken fingers were GF (I will make sure to try them next time!) Also had an angry orchard cider to top it off. I loved going to Wild Willy's when I visited York, Maine as a teen so it's nice to have one closer to home too.
A small, pleasant place with a decent burger (on Udis) and GOOD fries (dedicated drier) They asked if my GF order was Celiac then informed the kitchen throughly. Side bonus: Bell & Evan chicken and Pineland Farms beef available. Downside: the food is good, the bathrooms are distinctly NOT handicap friendly.
I have to say, I've tried a lot of very decent gluten free burgers in my area (Red Robin and British Beer Company, to name a few) but I think this one may be the best one I've tried yet. The only bad thing I have to say about them is that the GF menu is not available online. I've now tried the "Willy" burger and the "Conestoga" and both were really really yummy. The rolls are particularly good, better than the standard Udi's rolls I've had other places. I'm not sure where they get them from, but I definitely hadn't had them anywhere else before. The fries are also GF - personally, I thought the fries were nothing special but put some salt on them and they're not bad. The burgers are the real draw for me - I will definitely be back many times. This would definitely be a good place to bring kids!
burgers? this is the spot! opened the door and the aroma said it all. menu is clearly marked. The staff here made me feel like eating GF was NORMAL. our party had; outlaw Burger, willy burger, sweet potato fries, root beer float all GF they have angry orchard hard cider 3 locations in MA, 1 location in Maine and New Hampshire
Don't know why this particular location takes gluten free product (chicken fingers, fries, etc) and makes then not gluten free. The reason i was told the onions aren't GF at the Worcester location is because the ladle touches the regular bread. You think they'd stop doing that, but at least they're good about cross contamination.
