This is NOT a dedicated gluten-free facility! They have pizza making classes here and management confirmed that they use regular, non-GF flour for all of the classes. They are falsely advertising they are totally gluten-free.
Excellent food! It is a gluten free restaurant! Is completely safe for someone with celiac. I have eaten there and have ordered take out many times. Food is delicious! Chicken parmigiana is excellent and their ravioli is delicious! Eating here doesn’t make me feel I am eating different food like I usually feel when I eat gluten free pasta. This is my go to place when I am craving bread or pasta!! It’s so nice to know I don’t have to worry about getting sick when eating out!!!
The pizza and ravioli are delicious!
Went here for brunch, the menu was not what they show on their website.
After reading a few reviews on this app about gluten beer possibly contaminating glassware and also pizza classes using gluten dough, I decided to call and find out more. The mgr. I spoke to assured me that the pizza classes use GF dough, there is no gluten food in the restaurant at all. The non GF beer that is served comes in bottles, so it would not contaminate glassware. I hope that is reassuring to others who may have read those previous reviews. The mgr. was extremely friendly and welcoming on the phone. Having a celiac daughter, I feel confident we can eat here again, as we did a year ago.
Delicious food and didn’t have any reaction.
GF pizza was delicious. The cannoli was yummy.
Delicious!!! The avocado toast and pear salad were great. The ravioli was especially amazing. Outstanding food and I didn’t have any sort of reaction. Highly recommend
The menu is 100% gluten free, but, as others have noted, they are not truly a dedicated gluten-free facility because they use gluten-full dough in their make-your-own-pizza classes. :( That said, I have eaten there many times without getting glutened, and the pizza is very good. it's just not quite as safe a spot as I previously believed.
100% Gluten free!! The Wild mushroom penne was incredible. Loved the GF beer as well. Definitely recommend. The pizza crusts are vegan and GF.
This place was very cute and the food was amazing. We went here for brunch, ordered off of the prix fix menu. I had the white pizza with truffle oil and poached eggs. I never knew eggs worked so well on a pizza, I highly recommend that you try it. The brunch was reasonably priced and included a mimosa or Bellini. I also had the French toast which was exactly that. I didn't notice any difference with it being gluten free. It's a little tiny in the restaurant so you may not want to bring small children, especially rambunctious children. I highly suggest adding this place to your experience of gluten-free eateries in New York City. For six people ordering off of the brunch menu it was 170 with gratuity included. That's pretty damn good for New York City!
Best meal I’ve had in a long time. It was awesome to be able to choose anything from the menu, including dessert!
Delicious brunch. Had Eggs Benedict on GF english muffins - tasted just like Glutino eng muffs (really good). Served with crispy home fries & arugula salad. Great neighborhood and no wait at noon on Sunday. Simple & delicious food, will go back to try the pizza!
Great food, good service, celiac safe :)
Very kind and courteous staff, delicious food!
Went here for dinner with my boyfriend. We got pizza and ravioli, which were both delicious and tested gluten free on my Nima sensor. However, we ordered takeout the next day and issues came up. They threw out our order without calling because we were 15 minutes late. Granted, it was the very end of the day and the manager offered to remake it. The service was great in that sense, but when we got home I tested my pesto pasta with the Nima sensor and it read "gluten found". Based on the texture of the noodles, the pasta was def gluten free but something must have been cross contaminated or some other ingredient isn't gf. We also ordered dessert and my brownie also registered "gluten found." Full transparency, the pizza we ordered tested fine both times. I emailed them since it seems like a lot of celiacs dine here. Their response was not that polite, but someone did reply with both owners copied. They said what happened is impossible and my sensor must be broken or misread the food. They also told me to contact their dessert vendor about the brownie. Just for the record, the sensor I'm using is brand new, allegedly 99.5% accurate, and I've used it successfully at other places. They did not indicate that they would check out the situation on site, so I'll probably not come back here.
Excellent food, great service, love the atmosphere!
Been here for brunch and dinner, Great place! Great food!
I really loved coming to this restaurant, the food is excellent. The reason for my bad review is because they are advertised as being 100% gluten free. I have celiac disease so the only way I feel totally comfortable eating out is if the place is 100% gluten free. The last time I was there I found out that whenever there is a make your own pizza night, which seems like most nights, the dough used is not gluten free because the owner doesn't want to divulge his secret gluten free recipe. The fact that there is flour even near the kitchen scares me. I unfortunately I can't go back and will be frequenting Senza Gluten on Sullivan st instead.
Totally gluten free! The bruschetta and pizza were amazing. Great service
Do it. Go there ASAP. Don’t walk, run! Butternut squash ravioli is amazing!!
Great 100% GF restaurant in the West Village. My family enjoyed our meal of chicken nachos and pizza. Highly recommended.
amazing service! Great selection of food. will definitely be coming back again!!!
Probably one of my favorite GF places in the City. 100% GF. Vegan options. And amazing desserts.
It's been some time since I've been to a restaurant that is so charming, unpretentious, and delicious. And to boot, It's COMPLETELY GLUTEN FREE. Wild came into my radar one night while trying to plan my birthday dinner with my family which includes strict vegetarians, omnivores, and me... Gluten free. Wild hit all the right spots for all of us. Squash ravioli, flatbreads, drinks, truffle chicken pasta... all really really good and 100% Gluten Free. We will be coming back... and we did.
fantastic, food was lovely and fresh. we had pizza and salad. all gluten free food (some beers were not gf) friendly staff
This restaurant is 100% GF. The food is phenomenal. I have eaten here numerous times and loved everything about it. Anytime I can get all the options with no worries plus a GF bar is amazing!
Dedicated restaurant, went there for dinner and ate pizza (mushroom truffle for my wife and chicken BBQ for me) taste was very good but crust medium. My rating 2 stars is because they charge me 20% gratuity on my bill without choice and we are only two!
The wild mushroom and truffle penne was amazing! Quinoa salad with salmon also a delicious healthier option.
Absolutely amazing gf pizza!! Tried the white pizza and bruschetta and both were delicious. Great ambiance too! Highly recommend
Everything on the menu is gluten free and so so good! The pepperoni and prosciutto pizza were out of this world good, gf or not. Must try this!
Food and drinks were excellent! Service was really slow. I would try them again on a different day.
Everything there is gluten free and super yummy! Highly recommended.
100% gf and amazing food. can't be beat.
Chicken nachos were pretty good, the butternut squash ravioli in a browned butter safe sauce was amazing. Looks small when you get it but is very filling so you don't need anymore. Tried my friends pizza which was good for gluten free if you know what I mean. Actually have a gluten free cannoli which I have not been able to have in years and was so happy. My friends got the raspberry cheesecake and fudge brownie and both were 10/10. Overall a great meal
Incredible place in beutiful West Village!Server told us that it is a dedicated gluten free facility since one of the owners/founders has celiac. Anyway, food and service were great. They have three more locations in NY plus one in Guatemala! We tried their pizza, chicken milanese and blueberry pancakes and everything was delicious. Oh! And they have dessert! Their canoli and double fudge brownie were wonderful too! Our celiac boy was super happy!
Entire menu is GF! Best GF pizza I have ever had!
What a find! My first time to NYC after many years and now with the added Celiac diagnosis. Found this lil gem at 10:22pm on a Sunday night after an hour searching for a safe place to eat but failing since everything was closed. I had 8 minutes to get to the restaurant and get food before the kitchen closed. Thankfully I made it just in time to order there Salmon dish as well as a white pizza as an appetizer (I was that hungry). I love how their menu is 100% gluten free and I can order safely wth confidence that I am eating safely. Food tasted great and I look forward to visit this restaurant again when I make it back in town!
100% Gluten Free Menu! Great space and happy hour (wine and sangria)
I believe this use to be an older place called Crisp. Awesome decor, ambience that the whole menu is gluten-free which is amazing. The pasta dish was delicious- they were very accommodating, had GF beer and the staff was relatively knowledgable. Unfortunately, the pizza is still similar to when it was Crisp in that it was hard, thin and closer to a chip than pizza. Keste and Pala are definitely better.
Almost entirely gluten free menu. I recommend the sausage and pepper pizza.
good food, friendly staff, 100% gf
Awesome. Great pizza and pasta all gf!
Everything is gluten free except for a few specialty breads and ravioli made in a separate facility. Also delicious. Two locations - one in West Village and one in Williamsburg.
Eclectic menu complimented by amazing sangria but menu failed to be crystal clear for dietary restrictions. Service was the right balance of attentiveness and hands off but missed the mark on the follow up. Entrees overshadowed the noisy table of 5 Tweens seated adjacent, the gluten-free dessert tray alone is worth another trip.
I have celiac disease and came here for brunch. The pancakes were amazing and the create your own omelette is a great option. The service was great! Everything on the menu is gluten free and made me wish I lived in New York.
The server completely failed to instill any confidence in my ability to get a safe meal (or even the right meal. She didn't write anything down, and repeated back the wrong order several times), but I decided to trust the kitchen as it did have a GF menu and great reviews, hoping maybe the ditzy pretty girl thing was just an act to get more tips from the guys at the table. Sure enough, 10 minutes into my meal my throat started constricting and my other allergy was initiating kill-mode. As I was in a business meeting that I desperately didn't want to screw up, I subtly excused myself, vomited what I had eaten, popped some benedryl and rejoined my table, epi-pen grasped in pocket. So, GF: good. Food: tasty. Server: useless. I don't think my other allergy ever fell on the ears of the kitchen staff, or perhaps another person at my table's order got the careful treatment. I'm giving 3 stars not 1 because I really truly believe it was entirely the fault of the server, and not the restaurant, and hopefully she won't remain employed there much longer.
Great food. I ate here 2 nights in a row and I'll be back again soon.
Fantastic pizza, slow service...worth it though.
Great pizza...and it is ALL GF. It's a very laid back, modern place. A personal size would be enough to split if you have an appetizer. The organic tea and handmade lemonade were pretty good too. Service wasn't super fast but it wasn't unbearable either.
