Now, I have to say I most likely will be returning, since the pizza is worth it. My boyfriend is also a very picky eater, and I have so many food limitations, that it is hard to find a restaurant we both like, But, I took off one star because the owner was being disrespectful to an employee on the last visit, and another for vegan options. They advertise vegan options and explicitly state that the pizza crust is vegan, but then there are no set vegan pizzas, and no vegan cheese or protein option. Then, I have altered pizzas to be vegan by saying “please remove the cheese to make this vegan,” so I have both specified no cheese and vegan to be clear, and twice I have had to send back the pizza because it was not made vegan. I think it is the kitchen staff that does not understand, not the wait staff. Also, as others have said, they do use flour in the kitchen for classes, but I’m not worried about that because there is not flour coating every surface, and it is never used during restaurant hours.
