Not a recommend as a celiac for choice but a recommend as a place to have dinner with non-GF company. Very knowledgeable staff, consulted with kitchen and throughly explained prep space/cross contain potentials. Identified options on the menu that could be celiac safe, only 1/3 of what was labeled gluten free but there was 1 in each category. Had the yellow curry, probiotic bowl, and the Romano Beans appetizer. For pizza they could not control prep surface where pizza made and clear not safe for celiac. Limited but delicious options, trusted the team!
Their menu makes it seem like most of it is GF, but in reality most of those options have cross-contamination issues, or they have to be modified. It bothered me that the menu is set up to suggest that you can order the items without special modifications. Once I discussed with a waiter, it became clear that maybe less than a 1/5 of the menu was safe. The food was ultimately mediocre too.
It seems to be some conflicting messaging here between the staff & the kitchen. Call ahead as I’m here on business and was told that my celiac disease will be easy to accommodate and precautions to be taken on any gluten-free menu item. When I arrived, however, I was told that there was only like three things on the menu I can eat safely. I appreciate being told that but that is not what I was told over the phone. Based on the other reviews, there seems to be some miscommunication between what is celiac safe and what is not. Disappointing because the atmosphere was really nice.
Update - disappointed to say that I came here another time and was told the complete opposite. I wasn’t glutened the first time I ate here, but the second time I visited, the chef came out and informed me that he doesn’t recommend someone with celiac eat there. I left - better safe than sorry!
I’m extremely sensitive celiac, and don’t take any chances, but I felt very comfortable eating here. A lot of the menu is gluten free. I told the server about celiac, cross contamination (change gloves, clean pan, etc.) and she assured me that they have a robust system in place for those with celiac. She also told the chef. I had a great meal with no issues!
