Winnie's Gluten-Free Kitchen

Everything is certified gluten free. It's a great when you can confidently order anything in the bakery. My favourite item is the butter tart square. Absolutely delicious and my non celiac friends love it too. It's also dairy free. I always go to Winnie's when I'm in Kitchener and try something new. Last time it was the cinnamon bun which was a little dry around the edges and needed more cinnamon. This time it was the morning glory muffin. It was tasty and moist.

This is a great bakery staffed with the sweetest people. The peace of mind in knowing everything is gluten free and safe for celiacs is phenomenal.

The food itself can be hit or miss. Their savoury foods leave something to be missed but their sweet foods are great. I’d recommend for the sandwich bread to be toasted to be at its tastiest. Their flakey pastries are AMAZING but their fillings aren’t memorable. Their bagels are bland.

Their desserts on the other hand always hit it out of the park! I’d highly recommend their cannolis, hello dolly’s and lemon squares.

We love coming back to this bakery to try every new dish, such an adventure!

I am so grateful for finding Winnie’s when I first found out about my celiac! They have many options…but some items are just too blah. I really enjoy their waffles though!

Staff are incredibly friendly. They are also nut free which is so hard to find & a total blessing for us! Love Winnie’s! Everything we have bought has been delicious!

Winnie’s Gluten Free Bakery is a wonderful find. I have been searching for a source for gluten free products with taste and that feel like a regular piece of bread. Winnie’s has finally provided me with that. I’m looking forward to trying everything else at the bakery. 👍👍👍👍👍

I tried two types of cakes. Both tasted very delicious, unlike the usual tasteless gluten free food. The butter tart square( I guess that was the name) is soooooo yumy you should give it a try. Would diffidently go back again. The staff was very lovely and prices were very reasonable.

Love love love this place. Best gluten free/dairy free brownies I’ve had. Worth the trip anytime I’m around Kitchener.

Prices can be a bit expensive so i don’t go as much as I would like to, but it’s so worth the treat. If you don’t live in Kitchener/Waterloo, Winnie’s is well worth the drive.

If you are a celiac...and in KW or passing by...go here! The baked goods taste amazing!! They offer a variety of bakery treats, puff pastery sandwich wraps that a premade, fresh bread, and a variery of frozen or fridge premade foods. I wish I lived closer!! It is a dedicated gf facility. The owners 2 daughters are Celiacs. So worth a visit!!

Fantastic gluten free food Pot pies, perogies, Jamaican patties, turnovers, cinnamon buns-I could go on all day. I've brought buttertarts to my work and everyone fights over them. You would never know the food was gluten free
