Review of Woody's Smokehouse

While traveling to Galveston from out of town, this place was at about the 1/2 way mark along the road. I called ahead of time and was assured they had GF options and was an eat-in restaurant. When we arrived, not only did we discover this was an order counter AT A GAS STATION, but that all the meats were in metal vats like dressings at a salad bar, work staff were completely clueless about what GF even meant, and none of their sauces were GF. Needless to say, there was no way we were going to take any chances, so we left. My advice—keep driving. ;)
