Called ahead and was told they had dedicated fryers for GF fries and other fried foods. Arrived and found out my only option was to substitute fries with a salad. The chef "cannot guarantee other gluten containing foods won't fall in there." So at least they seem educated about Celiac. Food is average.
I had the Waitress double check all of the ingredients in my order and they also have an allergy alert on the computer to let the kitchen staff know.
I had a lettuce wrapped burger and it was delicious. I skipped the fries because they don’t have a dedicated gf fryer. I’m happy to say I didn’t have any reactions after eating here!
Although they don’t have the menu marked for gluten free, they do have it logged in the computer. Just order what you want and they will substitute out gluten containing ingredients.
I will say, the GF menu is deceptive, but the great staff makes up for it. The menu lists a lot of items, but there are a lot of caveats. Pretty much your best bet is to stick with the salads and steak. My go-to is the NY Steak Salad. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and I've never had any problems. I'm also lactose intolerant and one time had forgotten my lactase pills and the waiter went ahead and printed out the ingredients of what I wanted to order so we would know for sure, and was great about making sure the kitchen was well aware of my restrictions.
The "gluten free" menu is a joke. Sandwiches and burgers are on the menu but it states "request no bread". Basically it says at the top they are not a gluten free environment. Out of 157 beers there is one gluten free beer. Wow! They are making me give at least one star.
No dedicated space/prep equipment, but knowledgable staff makes sure food is safe.
Gluten free menu available on the ziosk. I ordered the BLT, wanted fries, but cross contamination would be an issue. I should’ve been offered Parmesan potatoes. It was really messy. I would’ve preferred an actual wrap. Way too much lettuce. Sour dough would’ve been a better choice, but not an option. Salad provided with balsamic was great. The even have GF crème brûlée cheesecake.
My food was absolutely delicious and I didn’t get sick! I ordered off the “gluten sensitive menu” and I got the “stone delicious” drink. Unfortunately they open it for you, because I was abit skeptical of it. I wound up not drinking it and ordering a margarita because the people at the establishment couldn’t confirm if it was “GLUTEN FREE” apparently they just try to reduce the gluten content below the 20ppm mark. Yeah big no, didn’t drink it they did indeed charge us for it…but my burger and mashed potatoes were delicious. I wouldn’t go there again because I’m not sure they know the different between gluten free and gluten sensitive. I appreciate the attempt, but if you have a serious concern I’d skip it. I like to see gluten free, gluten sensitive Is my new red flag because they do not know what they are talking about lmao, they even accidentally served me fries instead of my mashed potatoes first. Kk
I also want to mention I ordered the stone delicious because it was the only item on the “gluten sensitive menu” when in reality they could have put the wines and ciders on there instead.
Food was good. Got a burger with GF bun and Parmesan mashed potatoes.
BEWARE: they offer a “Gluten Sensitive” menu. This did not mean that the items were specifically GF. We ordered the “Stone Delicious” cider/beer as that was on the gluten sensitive menu. This is not a safe option for those with a gluten sensitivity. For some reason they did not have any other drinks on the gluten sensitive menu that are actually GF(wine, ciders or appropriate mixed drinks).
So food was pretty good. But do your due diligence when ordering.
