The food is excellent, though the list of menu items is small, and there are a few GF beers, usually several ciders on tap, as well as mixed drinks.
I’ve eaten here quite a few times, since I travel to this area several times a year for work. It’s a great spot to go with a crowd, and it has a higher end sports bar feel.
The GF items used to be marked on the regular menu, but they now have a separate GF menu.
I was glutened once, by accident. I had ordered a burger, and as I was finishing the food, a manager came out and told me they just realized they had a new employee that had put regular buns where the gluten free buns are normally. They apologized and comped my entire ticket. I’m wondering if they did that out of an overabundance of caution, because I was not sick, that night. I definitely appreciate that they told me as soon as they realized there was a problem, though.
I’ve never had another issue, and I’ve eaten there at least a dozen times over the last few years.
I called ahead and the person who answered the phone seemed knowledgeable but went ahead and checked with someone else anyway, which I appreciated. We requested a gluten free menu. The waiter did not flinch when we told him Celiac. I’m always worried when I see a “deer in the headlights” look on the server’s face, but this one seemed to know. As I was impressing on him the concern of cross contamination, he seemed impatient and then said his son has Celiac. Was he just trying to get me to quit talking? He did, however, go to have a chat with the chef and he said he impressed on him the importance of not cross contaminating our food. For appetizers we had the cheese dip with veggies. We didn’t love the veggies so our waiter brought us corn tortillas and we made mini quesadillas. The tortilla chips are fried in contaminated oil so we couldn’t do that. For dinner we had the Cobb salad with shrimp and chicken. It was very good. We finished with the cheese cake brûlée which was delicious. The portions are huge! Eating out can be so stressful but this restaurant put us at ease. The food was good and no one got sick! I recommend.
Dedicated GF menu buy very limited since the fryer is shared.
They have a “gluten sensitive” menu which is always a little nerve wracking for celiac disease. Asked the server what the safest option would be to eliminate cross contamination and the head chef actually came out to the table and said they have very strict precautions for celiac. Got the BBQ chicken salad it was very yummy and did not have any symptoms!!
Dedicated gluten sensitive menu. I’m not coeliac but I am gluten sensitive extremely so treat my diet as if I was Coeliac (no may contains etc) and have a dairy allergy. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the waiter noted down my allergies and spoke to the chef about them.
I had the GF & DF shrimp noodles and they were absolutely beautiful!! The portion size was huge and so good for money. I didn’t feel poorly afterwards and had no reaction. I would definitely return!
Delicious food, staff was knowledgeable about celiac(including writing “gluten allergy” on my ticket) and they have a separate “gluten sensitive” menu with several options- I went with the Cilantro Lime Chicken, which was juicy and a generous portion, enough for two meals. As far as drinks, there are a few cider options and one hard seltzer at the time of this review. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back
