Review of Yokozuna Sushi

Have eaten here a dozen times with no problem. But management has changed or something is awry and it’s no longer worth the risk. Our waitress did not have any idea what the flour they use to coat the chicken was made from. I had to finally ask her to go ask the chef which she begrudgingly did. She reported back that the chicken is coated in FLOUR. I told her that we had already established that but that she was going to find out if it’s wheat flour or rice or tapioca or what. It became clear that I was an enormous annoyance to her and that she was completely clueless. We should have walked out then. Nevertheless, I elected to order the lowest risk sushi roll. My gluten sensitive son got a GF beef and broccoli stir fry. My son did not eat his broccoli so I did but was violently ill by the time we got home. I assume they used regular soy sauce in his dish that was supposed to be GF. After the initial poisoning, my joints were horribly inflamed for 3 weeks following. It was the worst accidental gluten poisoning I’ve ever had.
