Dined at YUMIDORI just two days after the last review. This restaurant is definitely NOT entirely GF. The majority of the lunch menu is marked sans gluten but not all the desserts. (The more extensive evening menu has more gluten containing meals).

At lunch the dishes are pre prepared and on display in a refrigerated cabinet. I inquired about one of the sushi boxes and the person at the counter said she wasn’t sure it was GF. She directed me to a less elaborate sushi box and said that one was ok. I asked about the soy sauce and she said that box had a small plastic bottle of tamari sauce and was safe.

The sushi was brilliant. The chef is touted as an international award winner and I can believe it.

Food excellent. Not GF in all cases. Staff unsure about some dishes.

Since older reviews on this app (2023) this restaurant is entirely GF just FYI! Highly highly recommend for coeliacs hunting for GF sushi/katsu/tiramasu/soy sauce and much more.

Fantastic restaurant. Owner and chefs were lovely and highly knowledgable. Everything that they sell (other than some drinks in bottles) is gluten free, including katsu chicken and the tiramisu! The staff were extremely knowledgeable about coeliacs. The place surprised me, like another review said, it really seemed like a takeaway sushi place and admittedly my hopes were low. Though the food was absolutely fantastic, so much variety and with everything being gluten free I felt so comfortable eating there. Loved it, would like to go again during my short holiday in Chamonix.

Wow, this place will surprise you. At first glance it looks like a takeaway only sushi bar but there is seating upstairs. Jeremi, the owner is the real deal with a 4 year diploma from the International Sushi Academy in Tokyo and international sushi competition awards. All the sushi is gluten free and Jeremi only uses special organic tamari and majority organic ingredients. My husband and I chatted with Jeremi on our way out and learned so much about his high standards. Also, I thought I would never say this about sushi, it was affordable too!

Freshly made sushi and poke bowls. Number of veggie and vegan options too. Good selection and menu and items clearly marked. Tamari available instead of soy too.
