Review of Zingerman's Delicatessen

I had called ahead to ask about how they handle gluten-free orders, and it all sounded great. They sterilize equipment, have a special cutting board and a special area on the grill. But when I got there, they told me the GF bread was made in the same bake house as the regular bread, and that it wouldn’t be safe for people with celiac. At least the soda was gluten free...
