Online een reservering gedaan. Daarna werden we eigenlijk meteen gebeld om te vragen of het goed is of er eventueel ook sporen van kon zijn. In mee gestemd dat dat oke is. Eenmaal aangekomen bij het restaurant netjes uitleg gekregen over de kaart (je krijgt een kaart waar je de dingen op kan aanstrepen wat je wilt en alles wat gluten bevat is doorgehaald). Paar dingen besteld en toen kwam er opeens iets met de notitie glutenvrij wat niet glutenvrij was. De gebakken uitjes zijn niet glutenvrij, maar doen ze over de gerechten heen voor een betere look. Nadat de fout was aangegeven hebben ze zeer streng gecontroleerd of mijn eten wel echt glutenvrij is.

Zinnia works with an order sheet on which you fill out what you'd like to order each 'round' for up to five dishes. Non-GF items get crossed out so you know what you can and cannot order. You also get a bottle of GF soy sauce. I'm unsure of whether the wasabi/horseradish paste they use is GF.

For the available GF dishes, these are usually adjusted by leaving out the sauce or other condiments to make it GF friendly. As an example, the yakitori comes without any sauce. Most of the sushi is GF as is, though, so you mostly won't miss out on anything when ordering sushi dishes.

They've recently switched to tablets for ordering to streamline the process and to make it so staff doesn't have to constantly pick up your order sheet. This isn't the case for GF options yet and I'd say my only point of improvement. Other than that, the food is tasty and reasonably priced, the atmosphere is great and the staff knows their stuff and is incredibly friendly as well.

You get your own glutenfree order card and a own bottle of glutenfree soysaus. There are a lot of glutenfree sushi to choose from. The place is very crowded and full in the weekends, making it hard to hear the orher person at your table. The sushi tastes good!
