Would think they'd be GF/ Celiac friendly based on GF menu and options but twice they have mistakenly included items with Gluten as sides to a GF meal. And both times for my 7 year old son. Not worth going there to have to inspect every detail...and still be worried about it. Dangerous place for a Celiac.
Zoe's Kitchen is very accommodating. They have many GF options. The hummus is made fresh daily and can be served with only cucumbers. Very fresh food for a chain.
New restaurant to the area... Delicious gluten free chicken Kabobs, Greek salad and hummus.
I regret giving Zoes another chance. Despite assurances from the server that the Cauliflower Rice Bowl is definitely GF, I have severe celiac symptoms. I have to give them one star in order to post this review, but wouldn't otherwise - beware! Apparently too much cross contamination to be celiac friendly.
Several gluten free options. Kabobs, rice, salad, coleslaw, hummus, etc. Gf is listed on menu.
Lots of GF options at a good price. I had the chicken kebabs with roasted vegetables and braised white beans (a little heavy on the tarragon for me). They gave extra tzatziki when we requested it. I will def return.
Great GF selection. GF items marked on menu. Delicious food. Reasonable prices (especially family Meal).
I am diagnosed Celiac and this place does not have a separate prep area, grill or fryer and the staff was not familiar with cross-contamination which made me really uncomfortable to eat here. The menu does have GF designations, but most of it is not Celiac-safe because of the shared space (i.e. the lamb, chicken etc are cooked on a shared grill although they are marked GF). The only item on their menu that they could for sure tell me was GF was their tomato basil soup and the vegetarian cauliflower bowl. Probably won't be going back.
Good clean food, whole food served fresh!
Zoe's has delicious, healthy, Mediterranean food that is made fresh daily on location. Everything from steak and chicken kebabs to salads and soups. Their menu is very easy to read and has a designated color-coded diamond next to each item which is available as a gluten-free option.
Very aware of cross contamination. celiac daughter loves the shrimp skewer and veggies
The first time I went here, they put pita bread on my soup plate. They were apologetic and brought me another bowl of soup. I decided to give them a second chance. Second time my shrimp skewers came out with pita bread. I sent the plate back and they brought me what I thought was a remade plate of food. And then halfway through eating I found another piece of bread under my rice. They had just pulled the bread off and gave me the same plate back. Manager was apologetic again and gave me a refund. I'm giving them 3 stars because the food is really good and without the hidden pita bread (the first time I ate here) I did not get sick. Just make sure you check it really well and if they happen to bring you a plate with the bread, hold on to it until they bring you a new plate.
Zoe's has been our go to for awhile now. We have not had any issues so far. We always inform the staff that it is celiac, and they take the necessary precautions to prevent contamination. The selection of GF items is not huge but sufficient. We love the chicken kabobs!
Manager took over mommies making sure the receipts were marked GF, change gloves and pita in separate containers(for the non-GFs in the car😜). Very awesome to be able to get a meal on a road trip. Didn't get an 5Star bc one of the kitchen staff cracked a joke about changing gloves for GF portion 🙁.
