Zoe's has great gf options, but on 2 different occasions recently, I have found bread crust mixed into the quinoa salad. Luckily I found it before my daughter, who has Celiac, started eating.

I am confused by their gluten free menu as when I have picked out a gluten free meal it's never what it has stated on the menu. Today I ordered the chicken kabobs with salad and pitta. Now foolishly I thought I would get a gluten free pitta but oh no, they replaced it with cucumber? really. This has happened a few times now as the other day they replaced the chips with guess what, cucumber! All I can think of is that they have loads of cucumber growing out the back and trying to get rid of it. So if you order a gluten free meal, be prepared for Lots of cucumber.

I used to really like eating at Zoe's but the last 3 or 4 times I've tried to eat there I have had problems. They are always very busy and it seems they struggle to fulfill their orders. Last time I went I ordered a cup of tomato basil soup (waited at least 15 minutes for it) and there were bread crumbs on the plate next to my soup. So basically they saw that it was supposed to be gf after they made it and took off the toast. When I questioned it they got an attitude and took it back to the kitchen very unhappily. Their restaurant is also very dirty, and it's hard to find a place to sit where there isn't food all over the floor and tables. I think they need new management desperately.

the first time I ate here I ordered off of the gluten free menu. when they brought my food out they had put the pita bread on my salad. the chicken on the kabob was dry. the second time I ate there the food was GREAT! I had the chicken and caramelized onions on Cole slaw. I will definitely eat here again

The food here is pretty decent. I always order through a manager and specify exactly what I can and cannot eat. The manager always verbally communicates my needs (upon my request) to be completely gluten free to the cooks and I don't have any issues with cross contamination. Being very specific and saying things like "no pita bread" in addition to saying gluten free on the ticket is helpful.

I’ve been here several times and the food is always delicious. Their GF items are clearly marked in the menu and they have a bunch of options. I have Celiac and have never gotten sick! Make sure to order “without pita” when appropriate.

Found myself at the mall and beyond hungry. Stopped into Zoe’s and boy I was not disappointed! Menu options clearly labeled (GF, Vegetarian and calories) and staff knowledgeable. Fresh, delicious food. I had the shrimp kebabs with marinated slaw and roasted veggies - all for under $11!

My order was brought to the table with pita bread on it, however the shift manager said he was happy to redo the order for me. He did and there were no problems. FYI I did notice on the allergen list that their greek dressing does have gluten. It’s a good place but some extra care needs to be taken by a diner with Celiac’s.

I don't recommend this location any more. This use to be my #1 place to eat in Norman, OK. Today was the 4th time my meal has not been gluten free (allergy) this year. They use to get it right every time but this year they haven't been. Today they brought my shrimp kabobs with pita chips. The server asked if she could just take them off & seemed upset when I asked her to remake my meal. It usually to takes 10 minutes to make a new order but today it only took 2 minutes.I was leary. By the 2nd bite I started getting asthma symptoms. Minutes later I started coughing & my throat started closing... I am ok but I won't eat here any more.

This will be the second time I've eaten Zoe's since going strictly gluten free, and they have been very accommodating both times. I get the Mediterranean Trio bowl with grilled chicken, and substitute extra quinoa for the pesto farro. The cashier immediately told the kitchen that the dish was gluten free, and the manager was knowledgeable about what's in each dish.

I’m newly gluten free and didn’t realize how hard it can be to find gf options at restaurants. Mediterranean is one of my favorite food cultures, and Zoës doesn’t disappoint. They have everything labeled with vegetarian, gf, vegan and whole30 options. It was so so simple to make a whole meal with sides and a main from what’s available as gf, and I didn’t even miss the pita bread (my weakness). I’m not celiac, just gluten sensitive, so I can’t speak on how good they are about celiac, but the options are tasty and great.

If you have celiac, stay away from Zoe’s. Every single time I go and specify that I’m gf and cannot have the pita, I see the line cooks put the pita right on top of my order. Then I always see that they read the receipt after the fact showing no pita and all they do is take it off the top without remaking it. I have had to ask them multiple times to remake my order since I watched them place the pita on top. At this point it’s just not worth it.

On our vacation, we stopped in and ate here for dinner. The staff is very knowledgeable about Celiac and took great care to not cross-contaminate our food. She had the chicken kabobs with the Israeli sauce over turmeric rice and a side salad. I had the salmon kabobs with the Moroccan Harissa sauce. She was able to eat both without problems and absolutely loved it. The wine was gluten free as well and she enjoyed her glass and mine lol. She feels safe ordering from here and wants to continue going here when we get back home. I love it too, so I’m good with that.

They have a well marked menu of gluten free items. However, when I ordered my meal and told them I had a gluten allergy I found a small piece of bread in my cold potato salad so there seems to be a risk of cross contamination.
