While this restaurant has healthy options for all, and some menu items listed as GF, it was a disappointment from the GF perspective. For some reason, I was led to believe from the GF menu on this site that the sandwiches and wraps were available withGF bread options. -- they are not. I will never rate a restaurant higher than 2 that's says GF menu with no GF bread options. Also, on the in store copy of the GF menu, many items were crossed out. Finally, on the regular menu board an option was listed for 1/2 sand which with a choice of 1/2 sized sides (4 choices) for a given price. Upon ordering, only the soup was available for that price, other options listed were available but not for posted price.
This place has a great menu, delicous food, and friendly staff.
Love Zoe's! Good healthy gluten free food, plenty of options!
Very aware of cross contamination. celiac daughter loves the shrimp skewer and veggies
The first time I went here, they put pita bread on my soup plate. They were apologetic and brought me another bowl of soup. I decided to give them a second chance. Second time my shrimp skewers came out with pita bread. I sent the plate back and they brought me what I thought was a remade plate of food. And then halfway through eating I found another piece of bread under my rice. They had just pulled the bread off and gave me the same plate back. Manager was apologetic again and gave me a refund. I'm giving them 3 stars because the food is really good and without the hidden pita bread (the first time I ate here) I did not get sick. Just make sure you check it really well and if they happen to bring you a plate with the bread, hold on to it until they bring you a new plate.
Zoe's has been our go to for awhile now. We have not had any issues so far. We always inform the staff that it is celiac, and they take the necessary precautions to prevent contamination. The selection of GF items is not huge but sufficient. We love the chicken kabobs!
Manager took over mommies making sure the receipts were marked GF, change gloves and pita in separate containers(for the non-GFs in the car😜). Very awesome to be able to get a meal on a road trip. Didn't get an 5Star bc one of the kitchen staff cracked a joke about changing gloves for GF portion 🙁.
Second time at this chain but first time at Franklin one. It was a bit busy so I was a bit nervous. I said I required GF for, and the guy said celiac so I felt better. I again ordered the chicken salad and fruit plate which comes with GF dressing. Good food and good portions. I felt that their portions and quality were actually better than Panera. My husband ordered a sandwich and fruit and it was bigger and he said tasted better too.
I love Zoe's and this location never disappoints.
Nice spot, avg service. Havent had a reaction here but not all the precautions are taken i dont think for highly sensitive.
One of the best gluten free places that I love and have never been glutened! Greek Salad with a bottom layer of Potatoe Salad and Chicken with veggies on skewer and yummy Navy Beans! Quickly order at the front, choose a table or booth or eat out on the patio, then they bring you your order! Try it, you will love it! I go to the one in Vintage Park on Louetta Rd. off Hwy.249. New one just opened in Cypress in front of Fairfield off Hwy. 290! TEXAS.
The staff was very helpful and there are a lot of GF, vegan and vegetarian options. I got the chicken kabobs and it was very tasty. I also had the baked feta with cucumberand bell pepper slices to sub for the pita chips. The lentil soup is a tomato base and is very good. The correct address for this location is 3730 SW Archer Road, Ste 200, Gainesville, FL 32608
My boss specifically chose this spot for a team lunch, as he's aware I have celiac and wants to ensure I can participate AND have a positive experience. Despite the fact that he informed the staff both when ordering appetizer items for sharing and then again when placing the order for my meal, there were pita wedges on most of the food (including my own entree, which he'd requested be gluten free). Got a mixed attitude from the staff when asking for assistance, and despite carefully avoiding any part of my plate the pita might have touched, I had a mild but definite gluten exposure response - not sure if it was the pita on my plate or general cross contamination. Food was delicious but unfortunately I won't be able to return.
Regular spot for lunch break during my work day. They have a whole separate process for ordering gluten free so make sure "gluten free" are the first words that come out of your mouth. The chicken kabobs are amazing. Their Greek salad is so good, and their house dressing is delicious.
I wish they would educate their employees more. It's very frustrating if I'm trying to order and I ask if it has gluten and almost every time I ask their reply is I don't know. How can you work in a chain that boasts gluten free and not even know what is gluten free on the menu. Also not as many options for gluten free as I feel they should have. I have their Greek salad and ask for no pita but a lot of the time they still give it to me which again is frustrating.
Excellently marked menu. Lots of food options. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Kept all our food separated. Food was great.
I really wanted Zoe's be celiac friendly, but this particular one was anything but. They were flippant and careless, and when they gave me the order with pita bread on it and I informed them that I had ordered the gluten-free version they simply remove the pita bread and try to shuffle it back out to me. It was clear that the cooks knew nothing of celiac disease or gluten allergies and furthermore could have cared less.
