Manager took over mommies making sure the receipts were marked GF, change gloves and pita in separate containers(for the non-GFs in the carπ). Very awesome to be able to get a meal on a road trip. Didn't get an 5Star bc one of the kitchen staff cracked a joke about changing gloves for GF portion π.
I have eaten there three times with no issues. They are aware of cross contamination issues and take appropriate precautions. The menu clearly labels items as gluten free, and they can make accommodations like cucumber slices in place of pita when you order hummus. Will eat here again for sure!
Yes
We ordered our meals with an emphasis on 'gluten free', letting them know that we are allergic. All of our meals came to our table with pita on top. The East Chase location is much more aware. We will not be back to this location.

We have eaten at Zoe's on Zelda many times, but today was not a good experience. We ordered the Shrimp Kabob split and it came to our table on one plate. The waiter knew it should have been split, but he did not offer to take it back to the kitchen and have it split it on two plates. I gave the instructions to the checker twice but she was having difficulty hearing me due to the loud music, the loud drink/ice machine and the conversation in the restaurant along with orders being shouted to the kitchen. It appeared that the kitchen/restaurant was sorely understaffed. We will probably go back but give explicit instructions to the checker to split the order on two plates. I understand from the waiter that the checker forgot to put the instructions on the ticket. We will not order the shrimp again because it was very tough. We will stick with the chicken kabob and ask that it be cooked while we wait without all the black pepper (too much black pepper for one dish).
When we placed our order, the guy turned to the cooks and told them to clean the grill and change their gloves. Great food!
Have eaten here several times in the last few months. Recently updated menu shows gluten free items, although staff is not terribly knowledgeable about items and cross contamination.
Restaurant was dirty the last time I was there, several unclean tables and restroom needed attention.

I used to really like eating at Zoe's but the last 3 or 4 times I've tried to eat there I have had problems. They are always very busy and it seems they struggle to fulfill their orders. Last time I went I ordered a cup of tomato basil soup (waited at least 15 minutes for it) and there were bread crumbs on the plate next to my soup. So basically they saw that it was supposed to be gf after they made it and took off the toast. When I questioned it they got an attitude and took it back to the kitchen very unhappily. Their restaurant is also very dirty, and it's hard to find a place to sit where there isn't food all over the floor and tables. I think they need new management desperately.
Not sure if things have changed but was told today that chicken is grilled on same surface as bread so wouldn’t be celiac safe
