This will be the second time I've eaten Zoe's since going strictly gluten free, and they have been very accommodating both times. I get the Mediterranean Trio bowl with grilled chicken, and substitute extra quinoa for the pesto farro. The cashier immediately told the kitchen that the dish was gluten free, and the manager was knowledgeable about what's in each dish.
I’m newly gluten free and didn’t realize how hard it can be to find gf options at restaurants. Mediterranean is one of my favorite food cultures, and Zoës doesn’t disappoint. They have everything labeled with vegetarian, gf, vegan and whole30 options. It was so so simple to make a whole meal with sides and a main from what’s available as gf, and I didn’t even miss the pita bread (my weakness). I’m not celiac, just gluten sensitive, so I can’t speak on how good they are about celiac, but the options are tasty and great.
Lots of gf Mediterranean offerings. Grilled salmon kabobs are delicious!
If you have celiac, stay away from Zoe’s. Every single time I go and specify that I’m gf and cannot have the pita, I see the line cooks put the pita right on top of my order. Then I always see that they read the receipt after the fact showing no pita and all they do is take it off the top without remaking it. I have had to ask them multiple times to remake my order since I watched them place the pita on top. At this point it’s just not worth it.
Menu clearly specifies what is gluten free. I had the shrimp stick with falafel on the side. Very good!
100% awesome STAFF and food!! And i am celiac.
I love this place so much and I feel safe eating here :)
On our vacation, we stopped in and ate here for dinner. The staff is very knowledgeable about Celiac and took great care to not cross-contaminate our food. She had the chicken kabobs with the Israeli sauce over turmeric rice and a side salad. I had the salmon kabobs with the Moroccan Harissa sauce. She was able to eat both without problems and absolutely loved it. The wine was gluten free as well and she enjoyed her glass and mine lol. She feels safe ordering from here and wants to continue going here when we get back home. I love it too, so I’m good with that.
Never disappoints! Knowledgeable staff, great prices, quick service, and lots of options!!
We depend on Zoe’s a lot while traveling to feed our toddler with Celiac. This location provided another safe and healthy meal for her and we are very grateful. She usually gets the kids salmon with rice.
Labeled gf menu, we stated it was an allergy and the person who took our order said he would make a note for the kitchen. Fresh and delicious.
Chicken kabobs are yum! Ask for no pita. Never gotten sick here ever. I get hummus with only cucumbers and the rice and salad as a side. I’ve also gotten roasted veggies and had no issues. The salad dressing and tatziki sauce are fine too. Chicken salad is also good.
They have a well marked menu of gluten free items. However, when I ordered my meal and told them I had a gluten allergy I found a small piece of bread in my cold potato salad so there seems to be a risk of cross contamination.
I always get kebab, falafel, and quinoa salad All 3 are delicious and I've never been sick.
I got sick 2 of 3 times I ate here (I have some intolerances so I was willing to think maybe that was it the first time but no way the third). The one time I was okay, the cashier had a kid with celiac so she knew what was up. Not a reliable system tho. Wouldn’t eat there unless she was the one taking my order.
The food was delicious and they knew what they were talking about. I ordered the cauliflower rice bowl and they let me supplement the cauliflower rice for turmeric rice and I added chicken, it was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back here again!
Website and staff are knowledgeable on gf options. I’ve never had an issue. Be sure to always specify no pita; they will include it (sometimes even when you ask them not to).
I've been here several times and have not had any issues until last night. I ordered the chicken kabobs with no pita and a side salad. The plate came out with pita on top so I sent it back. The manager left the tainted plate of food on the table and went and got me a whole new one which was super reassuring. I had explained to him that gluten exposure would make me sick. The new plate came very fast and he apologized. I don't know if someone in the kitchen thought they were being funny and rubbed pita on my food or there was some type of heavy cross-contamination that occurred but it hit me very hard. Today has been miserable. I'm crossing this one off the list for sure.
Plenty of gluten free options. I ordered the chicken with a side of potato salad and Greek salad. Be aware if you order a side salad they will put pita on it, at least in the to go box they did! I didn’t know this so I didn’t ask for no pita and it came in the box on top of the salad.
I was in the area and thought this would be a great option based on the reviews. I got the chicken kebabs with quinoa & salad and got really sick. I talked to the manager and she wondered if they went south with how they prepare their food earlier in the day. This place is not celiac friendly. Pretty extensive gluten free menu but not worth it.
They have an amazing GF menu and take very good care of gluten free needs.
I always special order my meal at Zoe’s because of celiac disease. I’ve gone several times to this location and they always get my order correct. Zoe’s is my restaurant of choice when traveling on business. I know I can get a healthy meal that is gluten free and doesn’t mess up my stomach.
Eaten there twice with my husband who is celiac they gave him salad with the bread on it t both times. We had identified it that he has celiac but they just didn't get it. The first time they did not redo the salad because he was sick 2 hours after eating there. Be VERY careful if you go here.
Good food, friendly service, moderately expensive for lunch. Has GF menu information on its website - I have not asked in store for a GF menu. My favorite: chicken kabobs with roasted vegetables and potatoes and harissa sauce.
We eat here on a regular basis, mentioning celiac when we order. Never had an issue. They always seem knowledgeable and accommodating. We will return. Clean and great food. Nice outdoor seating as well.
Separate gf menu and whole 30/paleo options as well. Never had an issue here. Healthy quick easy options.
Zoe’s Kitchen has a variety of GF options - including a kid friendly GF menu for our 4 year old who has Celiac’s Disease. Good, healthy food - quinoa, grilled chicken, fruit cup, and more that she enjoyed eating.
