Had a delicious gluten free pizza here and did not get sick! Others in my group are not celiac and also said they really loved the pizza.
Excellent options for gluten free and egg free pizza crust. You can get either a small or large crust, and toppings are all very fresh and delicious. Restaurant staff very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable towards gf.
Not only do they have gluten-free pizza crust, they are able to tell you about the gluten content of all of their toppings. They also make the pizza in a separate area and put something under the pizza in the oven so that it does not make contact with previous pizzas. And it tasted delicious, without any bad side effects.
I didn't question about cross contamination because I've eaten at another ZPizza last year and was very impressed. Reviews on here are favorable as well, but looking at them now I can see they're outdated
They didn't offer gf chicken I ordered previously so just had the gf pizza which hit the spot. Service was good but they had no parm or salt packets available. They are pretty pricey. A large gf pizza with 2 toppings, a calzone, and one bottled iced tea was about $50.
This location has limited indoor seating but had outdoor tables available. Their windows could use a good cleaning. The other location I've eaten at put gluten free stickers on the items I ordered which made me feel more confident about the food safety. They didn't do that here. I don't think I'd visit this location again.
I tried this place multiple times and had trouble every time. Cold hard crust, burnt pizza, long wait times with not updates. Had to throw out the last pizza I got from them, didn’t even get a chance to taste it.
I am someone who has Celiac Disease that means you cannot have eat any foods with Gluten in them (Gluten is in Wheat, Rye and Barley). So many foods are made with Gluten and many restaurants use products with Gluten in them and there prep process is not safe usually causing a Gluten Contamination possible. So, I am so excited when a restaurant chooses to find a way to prepare food, so there is NO contamination. ZPizza is one of those restaurant that chooses to care about people like myself, so when I go on vacation I don't have to keep cooking. For instance here is how they keep a Gluten Free pizza safe from their Gluten Pizzas. 1. They make or prepare all Gluten free Pizzas in the Freezer away from all other regular Gluten Pizzas. So, they are not prepared even close to those pizzas they are made in the freezer. 2. They always use fresh new utensils and 3. they place the Gluten Free Pizza on on a fresh new tray which it is cook on in the oven. So, the Chances of the Gluten Free Pizza being contaminated by other pizzas is extremely low. I have eaten twice at ZPizza in the last two years, when My husband and I are on Vacation in Mammoth. I really like the people who work at Zpizza too. They really have an understanding about Celiac Disease and they seem to like going the extra mile to make sure the food I eaten is safe. So, thank you ZPizza and your wonderful staff for understanding and making my vacation a wonderful time. I highly recommended Z Pizza at Monmouth lakes for those of us who have Gluten Sensitivity and Celiac Disease.
The staff was very informative a couple of them did not know a lot about the items but we’re willing to find out the pizza was very good I have never had a crust for a gluten-free pizza and almost 20 years that tasted like this and was a soft and delicious as it was all the ingredients were extremely fresh overall just a really good pizza no problems so far with anything to do with a pizza I have had celiac for over20 years very good pizza would recommend it and go there again thank you
