I ate here back in mid-2020 and it was really good pizza, no reaction afterwards. It was suuuuuper busy around lunchtime, and had to drive in circles around the neighborhood until it was ready, but that’s probably a good sign.

The staff was very nice but they said it would be celiac friendly and it was not but I still ate there. The food was very nice when I started eating it but it got very mushy after only a couple minutes. If you are highly allergic do not goš
No
They were super nice but this place is definitely not celiac friendly. There is a ton of cross-contamination, so if you have a serious intolerance to gluten, don’t go there.
No
After conversation with the staff, including discouragement from eating there as a celiac, I chose not to eat here.
No
The staff was awesome, zpizza was quick, hot, well cooked and awesome! This Celiac was pleased!
Excellent option for a quick bite and a sin at the same time. There’re variety of pizza options. I enjoyed the most the meats one!
Very helpful and delicious food!!
Yes
They prepare the gluten free pizza in a separate room and most times use separate toppings but always caveat that they may grab toppings from the area where regular pizza is made if needed. I consider myself a moderately sensitive Celiac and have never had any issues.
Yes
Maybe I came on an off day but the pizza was not good. It was safe, but not delicious. I ate the toppings and left almost the entire crust.
Yes
Gluten free crust and toppings. Separate pans and tools used as well. Delicious pizza and nice space if you opt to eat-in. Staff were friendly and food came out fast. Recommended!
Yes
Knowledgeable staff. GF pizza cooked on clean pan and cut with clean cutter in separate area. Great find for pizza
Yes
Wide variety of topping options, had two different pizzas and both were great. Friendly staff and nice place. Best GF crust I’ve ever had!
Place seems legit and the pizza is great. The cashier was aware of cross contamination issues and said they use dedicated pans and cutters for the gf pizzas. Will update if there are any issues.
Pizza was some of the best I’ve had for gf! While it’s not a gf environment they will take precautions if you ask. I had no issues (celiac).
Yes
Yummy!!! The best gluten free pizza I have ever had!!! We will be back
I did not feel very safe eating here but I didn’t have much of a choice. I was travelling with a large camp group and we stopped here for dinner, starving, after several hours of travel, an hour of looking for parking, and many hangry arguments. The staff seemed stoned when I asked questions, including the head chef, but he told me he would take precautions to avoid cross contact. I talked to him twice about cooking my pizza separately, covered in foil, and I didn’t get sick nor have any adverse reactions, but I wasn’t super confident about the knowledge of the staff. They were very accommodating though, which was why I gave four stars. The pizza was delicious, I had the vegan veggie pizza but they have all kinds of combinations and it is pretty cheap. Just be super specific when ordering with what you want and they will be more likely to accommodate you.
Yes
Had the gluten free carnivore and it was great. Tasty little pizza, and friendly staff.
Yes
staff was friendly and helpful. I am gluten-free and dairy free and had no problems. I would go back.
Yes
The place is very basic in looks but Very tasty pizza. My kids loved it. They seem to care about gluten free, was seperate dish and knife. We went twice in our visit in San Francisco
Delicious! Ate there twice during my time in San Francisco. Knowledgeable staff, quick service.
Yes
Best gluten free pizza I have ever had!!! And the service was also impeccable!
Great little pizza place. Brought GF pizza out separately and it was delicious! Entire family loved this place. Everyone got a different pizza and they were all great.
Yes
Delicious food, great service! Would totally go again when I'm in town. I got the garlic chicken pizza and it was to die for. The crust is yummy and a bit on the thin side but that's normal for gf pizza.
Yes
I've eaten here twice on two trips to SF, and I've never had an issue. The pizza is really quite good!
Yes
I felt safe eating here as a celiac, the chef reassured me although it's not a GF facility, he will do all he can do avoid cc. Pizza crust was good, generous with the mozzarella which is always a plus!! Really reasonably priced too.
Yes
AbFab pizza. haven't tasted a GF pizza like it.
Good, solid pizza effort. Friendly staff and close to moscone center, but just enough out of the way that it doesn't get crazy-busy.
sehr feine gluten free pizza! absolut zu empfehlen.
Sensational pizza bases (small and large only). Fresh and delicious toppings. They have directions on the wall behind the counter on how to prepare a gf pizza! Would go back in a flash!
Yes
This place was great! They had two sizes of GF crust and all the toppings, crust and sauce were delicious! We got a Casablanca (roasted garlic sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, parmesan) but added pepperoni and sausage and a small Mexican (mozzarella, spicy lime chicken, green onions, red onions, fresh avocado, sour cream, cilantro) Our version of the Casablanca was the best GF pizza I've had. Small shop but family friendly.
GF Pizza was great. This and crispy crust with lots of flavor. I had no issues. If we make it back to San Francisco we will go back.
Yes
I ate here several times during my stay for a conference. I didn't have any issues. Good Togo
Their gluten-free pizza is thin and crispy - and delicious. They will make any of their pizzas gluten-free for a dollar more. Staff is super friendly.
Yes
The pizza was really crispy and delicious! You can get almost all toppings. They charge $1 extra for small and $2 for medium size but it worths it :)
Pizza was good. Edges of the crust that didn't have toppings were burned.
This place is amazing. I love their employees. The manager is highly educated and aware of minimizing contamination and trains people to be meticulous (his cousin has celiac). I've never once had a problem with their pizza, which is amazing because I can't even walk into a bakery these days. The crust is delicious, but full of refined flour, so I can't overdo it without feeling a little over-starched. (this is also a plus or else I'd eat here every day!) The tomato and marinara sauces are to die for. The veggie toppings are fresh and delicious. They take care of problems promptly and graciously. But in over a year of regular pizza parties, I've never ONCE been glutened.
I moved out of the area and miss them very much. I don't trust other locations like I trust this one.
Yes
They are really careful with cross contamination. Staff was great. Pizza was thin and crisy, really good.
Yes
If you ask for gluten free expect 30 min wait. Totally unfriendly. Guy was a jerk! Sorry 30 min wait? How unfriendly is that. I'm hungry asshole.
No
Decent gluten free pizza. Much less oily then Paxi's. They may have cross contamination but I have been many times and thus far have not gotten sick. Very expensive for what it is and the toppings are not clearly marked as gluten free.
No
OK experience but not sure I'd depend on being GF as there's no dedicated GF area like Amici's
Yes
The staff were very understanding about my needs regarding cross contamination and explained the steps they take to avoid it. I also thought it was good that the guy behind the register told me they aren't certified gluten free but they do their best to avoid cross contamination. Pizza tasted good, nice thin, crispy crust.
Crust was good - rest of the pizza not the greatest.
Literally THE BEST pizza I've ever eaten.
Delicious pizza (I got the zbq) and great service. The thin crust was crunchy, tasty, and didn't fall apart. The small size was plenty big for me, but they also do large pizzas gluten free.
Best gf pizza I've ever had!!! Amazing and fresh. The crust is so good!!!
Delicious. The gluten free crust is available for small only. Thin & crispy. Very friendly people
It was delicious. The only problem was that two of them, including the owner, insisted the veggie crumbles were gf. I had seen the site linked here so I didn't trust them and I was right. They realized it, apologized and were careful after that, but it's kind of inexcusable in that context.
Soooo good.
Had a delicious gluten free pizza here and did not get sick! Others in my group are not celiac and also said they really loved the pizza.

Excellent options for gluten free and egg free pizza crust. You can get either a small or large crust, and toppings are all very fresh and delicious. Restaurant staff very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable towards gf.

I didn't question about cross contamination because I've eaten at another ZPizza last year and was very impressed. Reviews on here are favorable as well, but looking at them now I can see they're outdated
They didn't offer gf chicken I ordered previously so just had the gf pizza which hit the spot. Service was good but they had no parm or salt packets available. They are pretty pricey. A large gf pizza with 2 toppings, a calzone, and one bottled iced tea was about $50.
This location has limited indoor seating but had outdoor tables available. Their windows could use a good cleaning. The other location I've eaten at put gluten free stickers on the items I ordered which made me feel more confident about the food safety. They didn't do that here. I don't think I'd visit this location again.

I tried this place multiple times and had trouble every time. Cold hard crust, burnt pizza, long wait times with not updates. Had to throw out the last pizza I got from them, didn’t even get a chance to taste it.

I am someone who has Celiac Disease that means you cannot have eat any foods with Gluten in them (Gluten is in Wheat, Rye and Barley). So many foods are made with Gluten and many restaurants use products with Gluten in them and there prep process is not safe usually causing a Gluten Contamination possible. So, I am so excited when a restaurant chooses to find a way to prepare food, so there is NO contamination. ZPizza is one of those restaurant that chooses to care about people like myself, so when I go on vacation I don't have to keep cooking. For instance here is how they keep a Gluten Free pizza safe from their Gluten Pizzas. 1. They make or prepare all Gluten free Pizzas in the Freezer away from all other regular Gluten Pizzas. So, they are not prepared even close to those pizzas they are made in the freezer. 2. They always use fresh new utensils and 3. they place the Gluten Free Pizza on on a fresh new tray which it is cook on in the oven. So, the Chances of the Gluten Free Pizza being contaminated by other pizzas is extremely low. I have eaten twice at ZPizza in the last two years, when My husband and I are on Vacation in Mammoth. I really like the people who work at Zpizza too. They really have an understanding about Celiac Disease and they seem to like going the extra mile to make sure the food I eaten is safe. So, thank you ZPizza and your wonderful staff for understanding and making my vacation a wonderful time. I highly recommended Z Pizza at Monmouth lakes for those of us who have Gluten Sensitivity and Celiac Disease.
