I did fine with the breakfast: eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes; fine with the spicy but mix, but unfortunately I had such distended pain after eating the chicken Cobb salad. I looked up their faqs and they are not made in a dedicated gluten free facility. So, do with what you want with that information. This pain sucks and is embarrassing because I’m here for a work trip and can’t eat out with the team anyways. I hate celiac disease.
Interesting concept. Everything is grab and go and you can heat it up when you’re ready. Large selection of options. I’m traveling for work so it was nice to be able to pick up some safe meals I could just pop in the microwave after a long day. The portions are rather small (felt like a kid size meal). Everything I had was good but not great.
It’s such a cool idea, little pre-made meals…all gluten free.
But. I couldn’t eat my wrap because as I opened it, the aroma was so unfortunate. I took a small bite and immediately had to throw it away. The pasta tasted old and the sauces were bland. Such a bummer.
They did have a lot of options, so maybe we just happened to get the two worst options. I probably won’t chance it again, though.
They are a meal prep company but you can also get their meals onsite or at Whole Foods. If you’re in a hurry, you can also heat up your food in their microwave. Their portions are small but very tasty. The employee who greeted us was very knowledgeable and helpful to us. A lifesaver when traveling.
I love Snap! I order meals for lunch and dinner during the work week and it makes my life much simpler. They upped their recipe game since shutting down locations during covid and have much more flavorful options now. Everything there is gluten free so it’s totally safe for celiacs.
What a god send this place was to find! I was traveling through Austin for a wedding so I stopped here to pick up meals to take with me for the weekend. They kept and heated up great! I also found that they are available at both Whole Foods locations in town. The chocolate chip cookie was good too!
This place was super convenient for the F1 weekend I was there. I picked up a bunch of meals to store at the Airbnb for whenever I needed something to eat or my friends wanted to go out somewhere. I didn’t have a bad meal. All the meals are heat and eat, with the exception of some salads that can be eaten immediately. Don’t go expecting a restaurant, but if you want to sit outside and eat, that can be done too.
Snap kitchen wasn't what I expected, but did not disappoint. It is not a traditional restaurant where you order and are served food. Instead, all meals from breakfast to lunch to dinner and sides are pre-made and you purchase them to either take home and eat up or to heat up and eat on site. I tried the chicken chili enchiladas and they were fantastic, had I not microwaved them myself I would have thought they were cooked fresh from the kitchen and the flavors were amazing. If I lived in Houston I would be buying meals from here all the time.
All the meals are pre-made for microwaving, but the food was delicious. They had 2 microwaves in the store, so finding a way to heat food wasn't an issue. They also had multiple types of high quality hot sauces available for everyone to use. I stopped in on a long roadtrip, and was extremely tired and quite hungry. I didn't notice the enchilada I had chosen was going to expire that day. The cashier, however, was quick to notice and happily picked out a fresher one for me. Then, because it was near closing, she offered me the less fresh one on the house! I was very satisfied by both scrumptious meals. While I was eating, I was given a THIRD meal for free! This one was bruschetta chicken, and it tasted fantastic. I was so hungry I ate all three on the spot. It must have been my lucky day. I arrived just as they were restocking. After days of freeze dried food and coleman stove cooking, this was a treat. Thank you snap kitchen!
I really like their food. Its healthy and very clean. Their entire menu is gf
All their items are gluten free!
Delicious food! They have so many options, it’s hard to choose! Our entrees were some of the best GF meals we’ve ever had. They run between $10-$15. They aren’t all cooked all the way through. You select an entree and either microwave it there, or take it home to eat. There’s only outdoor seating, so it’s not a nice place to sit and eat in summer, but the food was delicious. They also have vegan and paleo options. They had GF bloodies, too, which were tasty!
This place was a lifesaver. I came to Dallas for a seminar, and the agenda clearly showed no options for someone with celiac. I went to Snap Kitchen, got a few days’ worth of food (EVERYTHING is gf), and kept it in a fridge where the seminar was held. Just microwave and eat! Absolutely delicious, reasonable price, and healthier than most prepared food. The staff were INCREDIBLY helpful. I am so, so happy I found this place.
Everything is gluten free. Carry out entrees only. Staff very knowledgeable
James was super knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are reasonable considering all of their fresh ingredients and care to avoid Gluten and tend to special diets like Paleo or Whole 30. All of the items available are GF.
