The gluten free pizza is fine tasting. Not the best. But I’ve eaten the gf pizza a bunch of times and never been sick. I’ve asked them to use a clean pizza cutter and they say they always do for the gluten free pizza
Got the pasta alfredo sauce, mozzarella on top! Was very good!
Something i’d like to note- i was told the steamed broccoli is made on the same area as other pastas, so be aware of that because the gluten free section on the menu has steamed broccoli on it.
Decent pizza. We’ve never had problems with their gluten-free ones.
Food and service were very poor quality. I have celiac disease and have eaten at the Comellas location that was in Bedford (closed now). I went here, got a gluten free pizza (I was told they were all out of pasta), and a measly 12” gluten free pizza cost me $30 ( I got some avocado slices on it but cmon man).
There were only 2 other customers within the building, they forgot about my food. 25 minutes went by, my food still wasn’t there - I told my friends to not wait because I didn’t want them to have to suffer as well. I had to ask the servers where my food was and was given a cold pizza; no apology just was told, “it was sitting there”. On top of it all, it was Udis gluten free pizza crust. AKA the cheapest pizza crust that I could buy at market basket - $7.58. Yet here I was paying more than 3x that. DON’T GO HERE - I promise you, even if you’re not skilled in the kitchen, you can make a better pizza at home; and save a lot of money.
Frequently get their spinach calamari pasta, absolutely delicious!
I have worked here for 7 years and never gotten sick from the food. The gluten free pizza is cooked in a metal tin to prevent cross contamination. The grilled chicken parm and gluten free pasta is my favorite.
I have had great experiences at Comellas, and have felt as safe as possible given it is a pizza restaurant. They have a “Gluten friendly” section with a lot of options. I’ve eaten there multiples times and not gotten sick.

Pizza tasted like pie crust and it’s sauce and cheese. Some like it and others may not. Celiac friendly I just didn’t like their food.

I ordered GF shrimp scampi. It was made with GF pasta but lacked flavor. There was very little sauce and it was generally unappealing. It was disappointing considering the cost. Waitstaff seemed uninformed about celiac and showed little interest or engagement when questioned about safety.

Comellas has one of our favorite gluten free pizzas. It is very cheesy and the sauce is delicious.I have two children with celiac. One is very very sensitive and she has never gotten sick. They do an excellent job with the pizza and keeping it gluten-free.
Good GF pizza, knowledgeable management. GF pizza, and therefore the boxes, come in a unique size vs. regular pizza and clearly labelled. Friendliness and server knowledge varies. Unfortunately, pizza often undercooked.
I have gotten a pizza here before and the crust was not good, it tastes like an over cooked pita chip. I will not get pizza here again!
Udi's crust, I think. They take precautions to keep it gf.
They have gluten free dough/sauce for pizza and can make most of their specialty pizzas. My only complaint is that the dough was not fully cooked in the middle of the pizza, but the outside was done.I would go back for sure
