I’ve been to other cubby’s locations too and they are always good about gluten free! This time I ordered a salad and fries. I double checked that the fries were gluten free and the girl at the counter made sure to label my whole meal as a gluten allergy. The food was delicious as usual! So glad we have this down here now!
I had the Hamburger on a Gluten Free Bun and it was very Good. They marked it Allergy and they also verified that their fries were in dedicated fryers and that the sauce on my burger was gluten free. So I felt safe eating my meal. I will be returning and am so glad have another place to eat out at.
My husband enjoyed a hamburger on a GF bun and rosemary fries. Their fries are safe! Everything was tasty and we will definitely return. Their menu states that most items can be made GF. I understand there are locations in Midvale/Ft. Union and Draper, but I don’t know if the offerings are the same.
I go here somewhat often since it is quick and good. Their fries are fried separately so it is a good place if you have the craving. I usually just get their bowls, but I've heard their burgers are good. Not every employee knows what Celiac disease is, but if you explain you have a gluten allergy they do take it seriously. I haven't gotten sick yet.
I took my daughter to this location (after having visited others) and was slightly nervous after reading the reviews. We had a fantastic experience! We both have celiacs and asked questions. The employee was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with making everything safe. We truly felt the risk of cross contamination was almost non existent. And the food was sooo good!
Food was excellent and service was quite quick for the freshness of the food. Everything was clearly marked and staff was knowledgeable. Very clean and all allergens are online or available if you have any questions. The GF bun was delicious, and they have a GF frier for both types of fries. So good!
Drove to Cubby's specifically to get a gf burger but when we got there, they didn't have any gf buns left. We ended up with salads that had like 3 pieces of meat, all lettuce & pretty gross dressing. I got sweet potato fries bc I was starving but paid for it later from cross-contam. For 3 of us but only 1 sandwich it was $70. Stupid expensive for a bunch of salad & cc fries. Call ahead if you want to go here!
We just found Cubby’s this week through a non-gf friend that said they have tons of Gf options. Everything in the menu can be made GF and the only thing in the fryer (at this location in AF) is sweet and regular French fries. The sweet potato fries are the best I’ve ever had!
They don't know anything about gf unless it's the salads. I ordered a gf sandwich on a gf bun. And three times they got it wrong. I'm so sick after being reassured they'd finally gotten it right. Stay away unless you want their salads and aren't sensitive. Fries are NOT safe, shared fryer! Cross contamination here is ridiculous.
I have eaten here for years getting salads, soup or sweet potatoes fries. Today I tried the chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun for the first time and got terribly sick. Now I’m worried about cross-contamination. I’ve talked with others who have had this experience lately at different locations. I would encourage the company to revisit their training about serving gluten free items. I love the food here but I’m not sure I can go back now. I’ve been sick all day!
Cubby’s has been a favorite for a long time. My wife recently decided to try going gluten free to help with her hashimotos. Cubby’s has several gluten free options and they are delicious. We had their tri-tip salad and the wild rice and kale salad. Both were fantastic and gluten free.
I love Cubbys and I am so grateful they have GF options. I always ask them to change their gloves and I have never walked away sick/contaminated. Cubbys is the only place I get fries (the sweet potato fries are the best), they have a dedicated frier! The Wild Kale and Tri-Tip salads are my go tops!
