Dude are you kidding me? The deluxe burger on a gluten free bun absolutely S L A P P E D. 10/10. I’ve had a hard time finding a good burgie in Tri-Cities. This is it. The tots were decent enough, I’m not sure if the fries are gluten free though. DAT BURGER THO…..
(Note: I did not verify anything with the server however I did not have any reaction)
The food tasted good. I had the chicken sandwich with GF bun, no bacon and a side salad. There are a lot of choices on the GF menu. I had a very small intestinal reaction which could be due to cross contact or some other reason. I would go back and give it another chance if I were in the area. The GF menu warns against the chips and other food fried in their fryer since it is not GF.
Not that impressed. While they did offer a gluten-free bun for a rather high up charge, they don’t have a dedicated fryer and didn’t have any gluten reduced or gluten-free beer to offer. Didn’t have any GI issues with the burger, which I had with lettuce instead of a GF bun, but I was not impressed with the lack of options.
Very understanding about being gluten free! There is a whole menu online with gluten free options which was helpful before ordering. There is no certified frier and there is still risk for cross-contamination. However, the hostess was very adamant that I make sure to advocate for myself and let the server know that I’m gluten free, she later checked in to make sure I had said something! Overall, fun place and really great food and drinks!
This is a great place to stop if you have kids. The restaurant has a dedicated GF menu, and our server was prepared to clarify specific modifications to my meal--I also can't have dairy or too much fatty food (gallbladder bladder issues).
There's also a covered playground across a field near the restaurant's parking lot.
I have other issues with this place (capsicum/spicy for me) so I'll only speak to my celiac experience - which was great. My celiac husband gets the Western burger on a delicious gf buns. I first got the smoked pork rib tips, but they were too spicy so I got the steak street tacos instead (both of those are on their happy hour menu 2-6pm!). And they serve Pepsi! Plus for me. Anyways, neither of us got sick either time we went. Fryer isn't safe, so sub fries/tots for salad or fruit.
They do have a gluten free menu available. Make sure to tell them you are gluten free allergy or ask for manager to make sure. Burgers are great and come with either GF bun or lettuce wrap. I also like the street tacos. Fryer is shared though so no chips or fries etc but the salad isn't terrible. They also offer fresh fruit. Usually at least one or 2 ciders available also.
I visited with a group Wednesday night who nearly all ordered burgers, so I went with the steak fajita salad to be safe. Our server knew about Celiac and mentioned their kitchen had a food allergy process in place and they'd be extra careful since she was marking it as "gluten allergy". When our food arrived, they announced my plate as the gluten-free fajita salad, a great sign, and better still, the salad was tasty and I had no reaction afterward. I'll go back to try a burger sometime.
They have an extensive gluten free menu. However, the staff were clueless about Celiacs and cross contamination.
I had to ask very specific question and didn’t feel comfortable about their answers. I settled in a simple salad and the server took my order then started talking about the great pita bread that comes with it! After explaining that this is not gluten free, a manager came out and apologized.
The salad came and tasted average. When I got home, I could tell I was glutened. I was very sick the rest of the evening.
The staff is knowledgeable about items containing gluten & precautions taken to prevent cross contamination. We had a lot of options & our food and drinks were delicious. Unfortunately the fryers are not gluten free, so my husband (celiac) couldn’t eat the tater tots or fries.
Very knowledgeable staff; the person who brought the food out to me made sure to tell me what precautions were taken with me meal. I usually have a side salad or fruit as my side (fries are an option but the menu indicates that they do not have a dedicated fryer so cross contact is possible). My only downside is that when ordering from here through UberEats/doordash/etc. there is no option to substitute a gluten free bun even though it’s an option at the restaurant
I sat in the bar. 1 cider and 1 seltzer option. Both good. The seltzer was a San Juan seltzer. I let my server know I am celiac. She got me a full GF menu. Menu included 3 starters, 7 salads, 3 sandwiches (gf bun or lettuce wrapped),9 burgers, and 3 entrees. No fries offered but fruit or salad. I assume there is no dedicated fryer. Full bar with plenty of GF options. Serving breakfast on the weekends 8-11am.
9 TVs throughout. Good for sports. I was in for lunch and noticed lots of kids and families here. I sat in the bar which is open and well lit. Clean, friendly, and tasty. Bartender (Natalie) was very friendly. I also noticed she keeps it tight and right in her work area. Will come back for sure!
Ordered the green salad, told the waiter no gluten, because I have Celiacs (which he seemed to understand), but my salad came with three big chunks of breading buried underneath, one of which I ate. And this was on a slow night. I told the staff, and they felt awful. The manager apparently supervised the kitchen staff while they safely remade my salad for me to bring home.
Gluten free menu. Food identified as “allergy” when ordered. Manager brings it out BEFORE all other orders with an explanation of how they kept it safe for me while being put together. (Glove change, cleaned work space, etc) I ate there 3 times this week. The Avocado Chicken Salad. Excellent!
My son loved the GF burger. He had no issues
We always go here for dinner. They have a great menu, and the staff knows about gluten allergies.
The burgers are really good, however if you're celiac or very sensitive, don't be fooled by their "gluten free" menu. Their tots, chips and other items are fried in the same oil as gluten items, so they are not gluten free.
That said, the burger with gluten free bun was delicious, and they prepared it especially for me to ensure it was gluten free, hence the 4 stars.
Excellent for people who are gluten-intolerant, but limited choices for Celiac sufferers. The staff was up front about possible cross-contamination with tots and fries, so I knew to avoid those. Their gluten free bun for the burgers is pretty good. If I get a burger craving I come here and have a side of fruit with the burger.
