All gelato is gluten free, gluten free cone also available. Also macarons GF. The server was really knowledge and used separate spatulas and ensured I had minimal cross contamination as she got fresh gelato from the bottom of the tub for me.

Amorino has a gluten free cone available (individually packaged) and is a good option for coeliac. However you need to specify that you are coeliac and make sure the ice cream is taken from an untouched part of the ice cream or choose from the ice creams that seems the safest (e.g. without visible crumbs or newly opened). The allergens in the ice creams are well described but the cross contamination remains a topic if you are very sensitive to it. You might also need to explain that gluten intolerances, allergies or coeliac disease might have a stronger constraints than just a gluten free cone and remember the person to use new gloves etc.. but we are used to it in most shops and restaurants. At least the processes are in place in most amorinos, it is just staff not always used to it.

All ice creams are gluten free. They told me that they are careful with cross contamination and that coeliacs in the past didn’t have issues. But they can’t promise anything. They used one scoop to get the top layer off the ice to then reach the bottom half with another clean scoop. Felt very safe!

Wow incredible! Gluten free cone was individually wrapped in a seperate case and tasted like a real cone! All the ice cream flavours were gluten free. Cone honestly tasted like a normal cone. You can also get as many flavours as you want! Stand out for me was the pistachio and chocolate hazelnut. You can try any flavour before you choose as well.

When you say that you are celiac they use different scoops to remove the sides of the gelato that you want to avoid cross contamination. Plus, it is very good!!

Amorino is pretty underrated for GF imo, and I'm going to tell you why!

Amorino has a very comprehensive allergen chart that even tells you what items may have traces or CC risks, and what items are free from gluten.

I'm constantly really happy with the GF options at Amorino and that ALL their gelato is GF. Specifically at this location you can also get GF cones (last time I went they were stored in a top shelf cabinet, so don't be scared to ask if you don't see them out) and all of the ice cream macarons are also GF. Even if they give you the "we aren't a dedicated facility" line, they DO go to lengths to prevent CC.

They have separate scoops and water for the GF items, will change their gloves, wipe down the area, and will either scoop from the other (non-scooped) side of the gelato pan OR may even scoop from a new pan* (make sure to check this, as it may vary).

If you're dairy free, they also have some delicious sorbets that I'd recommend giving a try.

I've been going to Amorino for YEARS and have never had an issue, so as long as you ask the right questions, you too should be able to enjoy some tasty gelato this Summer.

Can say the same as the other review - super friendly service, brought out the box with celiac friendly, clean scoops and she took ice cream from the back so it wasn‘t contaminated by the normal cones. All of the ice cream flavours are gluten free and they have a gluten free cone.

I was a little worried to come here because of previous review, but they were very helpful at this location even though it was busy. Had a great gluten free Ice cream with a gluten free cone! All gelato is made gluten free. They take ice cream from the same containers as normal but from a part that is untouched. Usually I would not take this risk but they did it in a very safe manner. They also clean their hands and the utensils, so make sure you mention it! I did not get sick!

Celiac here! We went to amorino’s near the Eiffel Tower but these were all over! We came for the macrons and they had them marked as gluten free so you could double check things before ordering! The only thing is they’re also a gelato place and I guess instead of the standard filling they used gelato, which was fine and kinda a fun spin on the normal macron, but I was hoping for the traditional! Still fun though and I didn’t get sick!

They had gluten free waffle cones, just have to order a classic(medium) size cone and then click add gluten free cone(for $1 extra) as far as I know all gelato flavors were gluten free and they had macarons as well which are naturally gluten free as they’re made of almond flour. They have all allergens listed on the wall. Not the best for cross contamination of cones/scoops but I think if you asked they could be more careful.

Do not go here if you have celiac. We requested a gluten-free cone for my son who has celiac. The server asked if the cone was for someone with celiac. We said yes. The server said “We aren’t allowed to serve people with celiac.” Very disappointing.

Incredible gelato, all flavours gluten free, and gluten free cones available. When I asked the staff about cross contamination they said they couldn't "100% guarantee no cross contamination" as they used gluten containing cones. However when I ordered they used a pre-packaged gluten free cone, and used an entirely clean scoop and jug of water for washing the scoop between flavours. They then displaced the ice cream that had been touched by previous scoops to use the ice cream that was underneath and therefore at least risk of cross contamination. I've never been more reassured about minimal risk of gluten when buying gelato.

I am so impressed by this ice cream shop. I teared up with happiness as the young man explained the precautions they go to. He said ‘it’s ok, I’ve got you’ Every ice cream is GF and all the macarons too! They have GF cones also. For GF people they take the ice cream underneath from a new section after scraping off the top and they change gloves. It’s all precautionary in case of cross contamination from a crumb from a non GF cone has cross contaminated the ice cream. So grateful.
