Gluten-Free at Amorino

Gluten free ice cream, all flavours are gluten free and they offer a gluten free cone! Amazing service, asked if I had an allergy and then brought out an allergy box with clean ice cream scoops and gf cones that were all individually wrapped. They washed their hands and never touched the cone and took the ice cream from the centre of the tub apposed to the end to avoid cross contamination from where they typically scoop for everyone else.

Ice cream was the best I’ve ever had and the cone made my day, they also had sorbet so dairy free and vegan options

I was kind of weary about the gelato experience. They told me (after calling their manager) that they couldn’t scoop from a new one in the back because the flavor I wanted was too full. Instead they side scooped and pull ice cream away from the touched area. I haven’t eaten yet so we shall see if I react to it but fingers crossed it’s all good.

Excellent experience. I let the waitress know that I had a gluten allergy and she made sure that nothing was cross contaminated and the staff seemed well aware of allergy precautions. I got the pork carnitas that were pretty good. It’s marked on the menu what items are GF. Would recommend!

Great experience and delicious gelato! They have an entire protocol when you say you are GF- new gloves, individually wrapped GF cones, clean scoopers. All of the gelato and the macarons are GF. Highly recommend!

In addition to all of the gelatos being GF, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about cross contamination. The wash the scoops in boiling water and either dig into new containers or into a new part of the open container, after scraping away the surface to make sure that something didn’t accidentally fall on it. The take great sanitary precautions, and the gelato is awesome!

Oh my, this is a true find! High quality gelato from France, many flavors, all gluten free. The server changed scoops and worked from an area that hadn’t been touched to avoid contamination with scoops that had touched cones. The gelato was simply delicious. They sell macarons, gf, but we didn’t try. Highly recommend!

Every ice cream in the shop is gluten free and you can have your ice cream with a gf cone which is wrapped separately. They have gluten free macarons! The most delicious gluten free ice cream in the shape of a rose!

It was very yummy and promised that all their gelatos are gf. However, about 30 minutes after eating it, I bloated and had cramps so I think I was cross contaminated. I’m not sure they washed the spoon after it had touched a waffle cone.

ALL the gelatos were gf! And almost all the macaroons! It’s a little clumsy because you have to order digitally but then you have to tell the person about the “allergy”. Good, didn’t get sick, would go back.

All the flavours were gluten free and they had gf cones as well. To be on the safe side, they cleaned all their equipment before serving up my gelato and helped me double check the chocolate sauce was def gf. The gelato was DELICIOUS and I couldn't thank them enough. Incredibly tasty. I had chocolate hazelnut, pistachio, Amorino chocolate, and yogurt. All beautiful but weirdly, I think the yogurt was my favourite. Cone was the best I've ever had.

Phenomenal service at this place, we explained that our son has a serious allergy. They immediately changed gloves, got new utensils and then took the top layer off an ice cream to give him new underneath. They also got a brand new one out of another ice cream. Never felt so safe. Amorino is a little ice cream shop in the centre of Rome (near Fontana di Trevi). Here you can find all ice cream flavour gluten free and also the gf cones and macaron to put on your ice cream. The price is a little exepensive, but the taste is so good

Part of a chain which is based in France but a great stop for Gelato Macrons, as well as gelato, but why when you can have a gelato filled macron. All the allergies are listed on the website. And from what I saw everything is GF. Wonderful.

Lots of gelato and sorbet options. Gelato and sorbet is marked for lactose, vegan and gluten free. You pick a cup size and can get as many flavors as you want. We tried the strawberry sorbet, triple berry sorbet and chocolate sorbet. The triple berry goes well with the chocolate. I did prefer the dark chocolate sorbet at Antica Gelateria.

They cannot completely eliminate traces in the ice cream, but they use new scoopers and push the touched ice cream to the side and wash the scoopers regularly.
