Some of their smoothies are gluten free are marked on the menu. However, I asked about if any food options were gluten free and the worker said “idk”……

Friendly staff and lots of options
Beware, there are gluten free smoothies listed, but every time I have been here, I have been glutened. This place is definitely not safe.

I had a Supergreens Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, shredded Parmesan and tomatoes on Romaine & Spinach. You can substitute the chicken for turkey or bacon if you want and there are other kinds of cheeses too. I asked them to leave off the parmesan crisps cuz I didn’t know if those were GF and the dressing of choice is served on the side. It comes with a choice of side and are several GF options available. I had a Sunrise Sunset Smoothie (strawberries, pineapple, mango and OJ) which was super tasty. No stomach issues.

Real fruit smoothies are gluten free. A few of the other blends have ingredients that could be questionable, like oats, so we stuck to the simple fruit-only smoothies. Employees were helpful and willing to wash the blender again just to be extra careful.

LOVE their smoothies! Usually get the sunrise sunset or the kiwi quencher but if you go to their website you can see all of the smoothies that are GF. You must let the person taking the order knos that you need the blender cleaned with SOAP AND WATER, not judy rinsed with water. This is because some of the things they put in other smoothies are not GF, for example, their protein powder. Unfortunately they have little to no food options for celiacs but it is a good place to stop for a refreshing drink!

The Store said they don’t have Gluten Free Food ??
They serve a large list of smoothies marked GF - gluten FRIENDLY.

Smoothies and salads are gluten free. I don't do food here because of cross contamination possibilities, but the smoothies are good.

While there’s not really a good selection for solid food, their app labels each smoothie so you can easily identify which is gluten free/dairy free/vegan, etc.

Writing this review as a warning for visiting any Tropical Smoothie. They DO NOT list any ingredients for their salad dressings on their website. Could not find it online anywhere either. Super frustrating. Not a smoothie person myself so was trying to find something to eat while with a group.

They have "GF" meaning "gluten friendly " items, but staff is not knowledgeable about why some items are and others are not labeled as such.

Many/most/all of their smoothies can be made without any gluten and the staff was willing and knowledgeable about creating a celiac safe environment for preparation!

Nearly every type of smoothie is gluten-free but they have virtually no GF food. There is a menu posted with marked GF options.

There really isn’t many options on the menu but if you ask for basically any wrap in a bowl they provide and are very careful, the person taking your order always personally goes and makes your order. I have never dealt with cross contamination. And really enjoy the food.

Definitely not celiac safe when it comes to the food. The rolls/wraps/flatbread are stored just above all the ingredients and crumbs can very easily fall on everything as they take them out of the packages. They grab all the ingredients by hand so asking them to change gloves beforehand would be pointless since everything would have already been touched after touching the bread items. The smoothies should be safe, though some do have oats.

This is a smoothie cafe for sure. I’m not sure how many of the food options are available gluten free as I usually just get a smoothie here, but they do have salads which I have had in the past and not had any reaction from.
I really adore this place. They have tasty, clean smoothies and salads that help me to reset on the road or when I am extra busy and have to grab a bite from a “fast food” place.

Zero options for gluten free food with the exception of chips and fresh fruit. Nearly all of the smoothies are gluten. They have a very easy to read nutritional facts sheet labeled with gluten free choices.

Didn't go for food so I'm not sure what they offer that could be gluten free, but most of their smoothies are gf. Make sure to double check though, because I saw that some of them aren't (looking at their online allergen info). I went through the drive through and got their tropical green smoothie and it was very good, bigger than I expected.

Only got a smoothie and it was good, asked them to clean the container for me. They have a sign on the door that says they cannot guarantee allergen safety.
Menu had been updated with gf indicators. I opted out of the oats for my smoothie and the staff sanitized the container prior to making my order. No problems!
Staff checked ingredients of my smoothie and said it did not contain gluten.
Never have gotten sick from there smoothies as each one is made in front of you. And if you let them know of allergies they are cautious
Excellent for smoothies and lunch! No dedicated space but management takes precautions when told. Smoothies are SUPER yummy!!! I am gluten sensitive and have been eating at Tropical for several years with no problems.
J love their smoothies and their food is the best
Yes
Fabulous menu and everything is gluten free except the tortillas. Love their smoothies.
Yes
will sanitize their blenders if you ask. great service!
Great food.
Items are clearly marked with allergens - many smoothies are gluten free, if not all of them, as well as many of the protein powders available. Wraps can be made into bowls without a tortilla and they are delicious! Manager was helpful when I asked about allergens as well.
They have a dedicated allergy blender. I forgot to tell them about my allergy before they made my smoothie but they remade it for me in the GF blender no problem. They were very accommodating. However, I did have some of the original smoothie before I realized and ended up getting glutened (totally my fault and not the facility’s), so make sure you do request the allergy blender.
Yes
no food options. only smoothies!

Nice place for lunch with plenty of GF options (vegan too). Only downside was they had no GF wraps so had to get plant based meats or wraps made into a salad. Delicious!
Yes
I ordered something that should have been gluten free, but had a reaction within minutes of starting it. They do say on their website not to order something if you actually have celiacs because the kitchen cross contaminates, so this is my bad. But just so everyone else is aware, I figured I'd give my experience.
No
I asked for an allergy menu and they didn't know what I was talking about. I tried to explain that I had a gluten allergy and they were all clueless. I decided not to even attempt a salad with with the fear of getting sick.
GF friendly. Knowledgeable staff. I have found them to take their time and be careful when making smoothies for my son who has Celiac.
The staff member was very knowledgeable. The manager gave me all of my options for celiac and knew about cross-contamination. He offered to clean area and get a new smoothie jars out to avoid cross-contamination. Offered to make sandwiches into salads. The food was good but very small portions. My smoothie was really good.
Yes
Many GF smoothie options. Few other options. Wraps and sandwiches not GF. Loaded spinach salad is GF. Would be better if had GF bread or tortillas available.
Cashier advised that all smoothies are gluten free. just be careful with the smoothie with oats as they are not gluten free oats.
they have a chart that displays all the gluten friendly items vegetarian items and also substitution beyond meat chicken free strips
I have been to Tropical Smoothie several times and they never have the gluten free wraps. Save youself a trip.
I wanted a blueberry pineapple smoothie. They were able to change the paradise point to meet my needs. It was fruit, water and sugar. Next time I would ask for OJ instead of water and sugar. Not bad for a smoothie made away from home. Cross contamination could be an issue, I am fairly sensitive intolerant and had no problems.
