Wonderful experience! Friendly staff. Dedicated fryer. We had wings, garlic fries and an Asian salad. Everything tested no gluten with my Nina sensor.

This location used to be very good about avoiding cross-contamination. However, something has changed in the recent years, and I have gotten sick the last several visits (I optimistically gave them several chances because of their history of being a safe place for me to eat and because their staff are usually kind and respectful). I have unfortunately continued to be made very sick, despite my having informed them each time that I had been contaminated and asking them to take extra precautions to avoid cross-contamination (and being assured that they did). If it were a simple matter of me ordering something else, perhaps my rating would be slightly higher; however, if a simple salad can't even be made gluten free, it's highly unlikely anything else could. It saddens me to have to blacklist this location on my own list of safe restaurants and not to be able to eat there anymore, but I will not be back.

My husband and I were traveling through and ended up staying next door to Wingers. When looking online I saw they have gluten free options and read the great reviews on here. After looking at the menu I called to confirm they did in fact have a separate fryer which they said yes. I asked about the sauces for the wings which were all gluten free. We order the chicken bacon tacos, burger and fries (which surprisingly came with a gluten free bun! We thought it would be lettuce wrapped), and 3 flavors of wings (double bbq, Buffalo, and original). Everything was amazing! Both of us have celiac disease and are highly reactive. ZERO reaction from either of us. So thankful to have found them. Traveling can be so hard. Highly recommend
We placed our order over the phone and picked up 20 minutes later

While it is a little expensive, I usually order a burger because they are so good! No gf bun which is sad but you can have a lettuce wrap or just the meat and toppings and I use my own bun at home. Their fries are also delicious since they have a dedicated frier. Never gotten sick from eating hereš

Absolutely delicious. I had the regular sauce and wings and fries. So much food but absolutely amazing. I don't usually like wings and even in the Seattle place nowhere compares to Wingers in Ontario. Make sure to stop in.

They have separate fryers and a separate gluten free menu. Most of their sauces are gluten free. They are really careful about not cross contaminating. I am really sensitive and haven't had a reaction.

Aug 2021 update: Stopped by recently after a long time due to Covid. Server said she is GF and eating there is "iffy" due to cross contamination. At least she was honest. This time the menu did not mark the sticky fingers as a GF option but she said they were available with cornstarch. I don't react in obvious ways to CC, so other reviewers may be more useful on CC.
Original review: The server seemed to understand the importance of celiac. Here's what I was told: GF sticky fingers (not listed on the menu) can be made with corn starch. Dedicated fryer for GF items and GF fries. GF fries do not have the seasoning on them. Their sauces are not all GF. The GF chicken is tossed in the sauce of your choice in a separate bowl than they use for regular breaded chicken. Important point, the physical menu disagrees with the Wingers website about which sauces are GF. I went off the website as it seemed more restrictive. They marked my plate with a toothpic/flag to indicate it was different (I really wish all restaurants would do this). The wingers website mentions GF right on the homepage -- so that's hopeful that they take it seriously as a chain.
If I feel well tomorrow, this will become a go-to place for me.

Ordered the Buffalo cauliflower, riblets and fries. Even though the waiter seemed to understand the need for GF and knew about separate fryer, the only thing labeled on our receipt was riblets. I was SO bloated and uncomfortable all night.

Fantastic! Chips and salsa, tacos, burgers and fries, teriyaki rice bowl. They had a gluten free menu and took precautions. Separate frier too.

The food was delicious. They now have fried buffalo cauliflower that is available GF. It was delicious and crispy.
The wings were awesome. Don’t get the riblets. They were SUPER tough.
I definitely recommend it.

Made my day when I learned they use a dedicated fryer for the gluten friendly items. Wings are battered in cornmeal. Super friendly people and great service.

Great hamburger and fries. First place I've been able to have fries in awhile since they get them in their own frier. A lot of their menu is available GF. Definitely would go back again!

I’ve eaten here before and it was great however I am not confident that they can serve gluten free food anymore. We tried to order gluten free food for the Super Bowl and they said they are using the GF dedicated fryers today for normal foods. When I asked her how they would clean them and if it would be safe to eat there ever again she was very short with me and told me they would “drain” the fryers and gluten free food would be back in tomorrow. I asked if they would use soap and water to get out extra particles and she just repeated herself saying they would “drain” them. The service is usually great but I’m not confident I can eat there safely anymore.

Dinner was awesome. I had the chicken tacos and the hostess who took my to go order assured me many times over the measures they take to minimize chance of cross contamination.
Four stars because breakfast kinda sucked. The food was great, but when I told the waitress I was gluten free, she kinda threw her hands up like, “I don’t know what you expect me to do about it.” She went on to say virtually nothing they had there was GF. I half wondered if it was the same people operating the restaurant in the morning! I ordered bacon and eggs, but did not feel very confident. The worst part was being made to feel like I was crazy to go in there and order in the first place. I was half in tears when my waitress left the table. For a restaurant that advertises their gluten free training, it was shocking to have that experience, especially after how great they were the night before. Probably just the one waitress, but still.

I ordered the tacos and they arrived in flour tortillas. I also can’t have dairy and had asked them to not put the crema on it and they arrived with the crema. They then had to remake the entire meal which took a long time. I had reiterated several times that I couldn’t have gluten or dairy and yet they still ended up on my plate so I have no confidence that cross contamination or anything else might have occurred.

I ate the garlic fries and the Cobb salad. Both were wonderful with no celiac reaction. Server ensured measures to reduce CC and ensured MOST sauces were gluten free. Will eat here again!

We stopped here due to comments on this app but were greatly disappointed. After talking to the manager, waitress and hostess about celiac ( which was answered w blank stares by all bit the manager) we were told their “gluten free” fryer was down and chips etc were not safe. We then waited an hour for food in a near empty restaurant only to be given chips all over the food. We didn’t eat the food and will be calling back the manager to say thank you for trying but... we didn’t have time to wait for them to remake it nor did I trust them. Use caution here if you have celiac. They didn’t seem to get it.
See prior comments. Food not that great per the folks who could eat it

Only tried it once so far, and got some chips and salsa and little tacos. Pretty yummy, fairly spicy, didnt get sick, the menu isn't a lot, but I'm definately going back to try other things.
I called and got a take out order I specifically said that I had a gluten allergy and that I have celiac. The wing dinner specifically said GF and indicated it was gluten free. She even repeated my order specifically saying gluten free. My stomach right after eating it was so upset! I’m curious as to what their procedure is to make it GF because I honestly don’t think they do anything. I’m going to be reaching out to them directly.

Another amazing gluten free establishment!! They treated my son amazing and we're overly cautious about everything for him. They have earned a forever customer.

Separate cutting boards, frier, knives. Lots of menu items can be grilled instead of breaded.

On a bus tour so it’s hard to find places to eat that you can trust. Bus stopped for lunch at shopping mall, and after reading reviews decided to try. GF is marked on menu, which had a few good options. Was undecided so waitress suggested the tacos or the bowls. Had a teriyaki sticky finger rice bowl and it was very good. Husband who is not GF had the burrito and really enjoyed it. We both had plenty to eat. Best part that this was our cheapest sit down meal during the tour. If had the opportunity, would definitely go again.
FANTASTIC!!! The manager was such a wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful guide to getting the most delicious GF battered wings and fries from a dedicated fryer! I wish this wasn’t a days drive from home but totally a new stop on road trips. Plus it’s was hubby’s birthday and they did things great for that! Just an awesome experience!!!

The food was great! Waitress double checked a few things for me: fries and chips both safe! She said the franchise owner’s daughter has celiac and they are very knowledgeable!

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a separate dedicated gluten free fryer, which was awesome! Wings are great.

Rediscovered Wingers and have been there a couple times recently. Good GF options and awareness. Everything is noted on the menu, servers are knowledgeable. Food is great and its great to have another wonderful option. Tasty food, great service. We will be back.

I had the wing dinner with fries it was good they were very nice and willing to work with me. It doesn’t say gluten free on the menu there but it dose on line.
Yes
The staff was very accommodating! They cook the chicken in a separate frier with corn flakes and it still has the same delicious taste! They even cooked fries in a separate area and ensured that there was no cross contamination during my visit!
Yes
No dedicated fryer, I was pretty excited to eat wings based on the last review, but can't. They said they can do some meats gluten free on the grill, though.
Most the staff are knowledgeable. I have experienced some cross contamination but only when I'M not diligent about my choices. I always get the wing dinner request EVERYTHING be in the gluten free fryer NO SEASONING! Safest place in town besides Costa Vida
They no longer do GF wings or use a separate fryer.

I am very sensitive to cross contamination so I was skeptical to eat here because of all the fried food. But after speaking to the staff I felt good about giving it a try. I was glad I did! I didn’t have a reaction. They had good gluten free options that were clearly labeled. They have a separate fryer for their gf fries and wings. A majority of their sauces are also gluten free! Our waitress made sure the chefs knew about my severe allergy and was very helpful. Would eat here again for sure! So glad we decided to give it a try!

The menu has GF items marked. We got the chips, quac and salsa starter. We tested with our Nima and it did come back GF! My husband (who has celiac) got the bbq chicken with veggies and garlic fries. We tested his good with the Nima and it came back GF as well!! My daughter (who has celiac) got the Caesar salad. Both really like their meals. Overall a good experience. When passing through in the future we will definitely stop again.

Dedicated gluten free fryer! You can have fries! Excellent food. The menu is clearly marked with gluten free options. Even wings. Wait staff was very knowledgeable. The manager came over and checked on us and assured the gluten free training.
Wings were amazing! Our server Tarryn was great too!

NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY! They use the gluten free area to make gluten foods while they are cleaning the gluten area at night. Including the fryers. I've only seen this at the Ontario store.
