Gluten-Free at Mazzio's Italian Eatery

I did not try the cauliflower crust pizza. I just got the salad bar and it was very messy, lots of potential cross contamination. I just did lettuce right when they brought it out and put dressing on it and I got sick. I tried to ask the cashier questions before I got that and he looked like he was 13 years old and was totally clueless. There are not many options in my this area and I hadn't eaten all day and was starving. I should have just grabbed a bag of chips from the quickie Mart...

I ordered the buffet and they made me 2 cauliflower gluten free crusts with no extra charge! It tasted amazing and i felt so special!

Wonderful experience for a celiac. Cauliflower crust with flavor! Took every precaution they could and I feel great as a celiac. Will be back!

Mazzios cauliflower crust gluten free pizza is really goid!

This place is very good at accommodating GF. The manager has celiac and has trained staff to do their best to clean and prep for GF allergies. They can bake wings and fries. They also have a gf pizza option. In addition, they have a good salad bar with most options being GF.

I was pleasantly surprised with this spot! GF Cauliflower crust pizza was really good. The staff was wonderful. They changed gloves and took extra care. Menu is marked with gf options.

This restaurant has dedicated pans/utensils and they take every precaution for people with celiac. Spoke to the manager, he was very nice and well versed in making sure the cross contamination is as limited as they can possibly be. So nice to have a pizza place I can go to!!

Their gluten free crust is very rubbery. I’ve always loved Mazzios. I’m sad I do not like their GF options.

Ok for gf pizza crust. Pizza is cooked on a separate pan but it is baked in a shared oven. And they have a disclaimer stating caution st shared kitchen. I have never gotten sick and have eaten her several times.

I was recommended this restaurant and was highly disappointed. Before ordering I asked if there are risks of cross contamination. I was told sometimes they get lazy and don't get clean the utensils but she could be sure they did. After that I couldn't be sure that the toppings weren't cross contaminated so I got to sit and watch everyone else eat because we are 3 hours from home. I would not recommend this place to anyone that is gluten free because they have to be

This place was a godsend! In a panic I called to see if they delivered gluten free pizza to the dorms. They not only did but had a separate prep area and told me about their process. And to top it off they were so nice!

Well came to this location w/ 2 kids. Was told they were able to make a gluten free pizza for me for the buffet. After paying and getting the kids plates, I was told they couldn't do that. So basically I had to refund mine and watch the kids eat while I was starving. Not to mention that now we have to make an additional stop for me to grab food. Thanks mazzios I don't feel discriminated against at all because of my allergies. I definitely won't be back to any mazzios ever.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I didn't just get cross contamination, I got gluten. They offer gf crust, it's baked on a special pan, but I still got gluten. I've been sick for a week.

Does offer Gluten Free Pizza. It was pretty good. The manager actually cooked the pizza and delivered it to my table. The pizza is about the size of a small pizza and has a very thin crust. I thought it was very similar to Udi's pepperoni pizza.

Pizza was served on it's own tray. Pretty average crust to many of the other gf pizza offerings in the area. I had no problems with the pizza. Clearly labeled crust on the printed menu. Wish the toppings were more clearly labeled so everyone, from cashier to customer, is on the same page with toppings. Overall though, a quality, thin-crust option for pizza.

Tried to order GF pizza 2 weeks ago, and they said they didn't offer it at this location. Salad bar is decent and fresh.

This is a good pizza for a quick dinner and the salad is good. A little floppy at times, but it's good. The price is about the price of making one from scratch or buying a frozen pizza.

They make customers aware of possible contamination, but said that they practically shut down all other production to make a gf pizza. It's reasonably priced and a great place to enjoy pizza.

Good gf crust

The gluten free pizza was delicious... tasted like an udi's pizza crust... thinking it probably is. 10" for over $10 is a little pricey and no delivery... but it feels good to be part of the pizza Friday night club :)

The Mazzios gluten free pizza was the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. I had no problems with it. The management told me they try to be very careful by changing their gloves, etc but whatever they did was right because their gluten pizza was delicious. For the first time in 15 years I felt like a completely normal person who was able to eat a good pizza just like other people. I will definitely go back again. I had Godfather gluten free and it was not even a close second to Mazzios. Whatever Mazzios does it is right and I applaud Mazzios for training of their employees and getting it right. This is gluten free pizza at its finest!

I ate their gluten free pizza and had no reaction which was pleasing. I will go back again!!! The pizza tasted great and I had a salad too.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever had. They only serve it at select locations and no delivery though. I prefer Mazzios over Hideaway! Its cheaper and bigger!!

great 10 in gf pizza and salad bar. pizza will take longer if with a group because they clean the kitchen and prep gf after the wheat pizza is finished.
