This is a franchise so owners are different at each location. This location was my first experience with this company and the owner is super nice, she tries to make sure everything is perfect for you. I did ask to have gloves changed by the lady making the food, who also was super nice and cooked the steak in my El Mexicana bowl perfectly. The food tastes very clean, just simple fresh ingredients. The tortillas are heated in a separate area as the where the meat is cooked so that was a relief. I would say this place is excellent just be sure to ask for glove change. I know the food industry is still learning about Celiac so I don't fault them for not thinking of all the stuff we have to.
Myself and my almost 3-year old need to follow a GF diet. GF options CLEARLY marked on the menu, Staff is VERY knowledgeable and HAPPY to accommodate. I asked direct questions about their ability to prevent cross contamination and they were able to confidently speak to their EXACT procedures/plans. Communication from server taking our order to cook preparing our food was superb regarding GF needs. Staff made it a point to verify whose (out of our three family members) order needed to be prepared GF or whether the request was for all of our orders-anticipating our GF needs seemed 2nd nature which is a relief.
This place and the people that work there are very knowledgeable to gluten intolerance. They treat you like family. The food's very good. This place is definitely my new gluten-free favorite place to eat now.
The food was good but I did find a piece of pasta buried in my broccoli, so there is possible cross contamination. I did get it delivered so they might have been more careful if I had called or was in the restaurant.
